"My second visit in a month, this time with my wife. Everything was really excellent the staff is really friendly and helpful especially Kayla, if your lucky enough to have her working when you're there she will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They keep the place really clean. One thing we noticed though at the smoking area in the back of the hotel there's a door to the upstairs steps that did not have a card lock for customers staying at the hotel and was unlocked and open."

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. This year we found the room to be quite neglected. The items we noted were as follows: The shower door would not close and had about a 6" gap. The iron had the pointed end broken completely off. "The pictures online are a clear case of false advertising. I was scared to get out of my car. Stray cats and dogs hanging around along with the animals that some of the “residents” were hoarding (even though there were signs posted stating no animals allowed) The people hanging outside looked like they were in need of assistance in many ways.
