"A perfect getaway for a relaxing time. We stayed for 3 nights and just kept admiring the nature and views. A must visit spot if you are really looking to unwind in the nature. Polen, the host, is a wonderful person and accommodates to your requests. We are definitely coming back soon. "

"Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty...

"We loved our stay at Lakeside Retreat - perfect location, clean, very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped kitchen and we felt quite "at home" in the house. Fiona and Richard are great hosts and easy to communicate with, check-in/out is very easy & there is no need to fuss with keys etc! Loved the view of the river from the house and enjoyed a few drinks and food on the table and chairs under the shady trees.. beautiful countryside. Close to Melbourne but feels like you’re far away! "This is a beautiful country property just 5 mins drive from Seymour shops. The view is stunning, especially at sunset with kangaroos hopping around. The pool is even nicer than the pictures show. Full kitchen has everything you could need."

"Super happy with our stay at the village green! The house was beautifully set up and perfect for our group. We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. All beds and rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen amenities was plenty and great spot for hikes and walks and a fun hedge maze out back. Highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed the rustic nature and country remoteness that this property provided. It’s very unusual in its collection of historic items but the beds were very comfy and it was surprisingly well appointed. We enjoyed the remoteness and getting away from it all for a few days."
