So close to everything in Seward and the surrounding area and yet you felt so secluded in beautiful surroundings.

The residence was clean, had a beautiful view and the owner made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I would recommended this place. The view is gorgeous.

This property is nice but it is the lower unit and there is a risk of noisy upstairs neighbors. It has a nice view and is very close to Seward. It has a comfy bed and a pullout couch. Everything was in good working order and was clean.

We felt we got what we paid for. It was very clean. We didn't cook in the unit but it had a large kitchen. It also had a large multi-purpose room. The front of the suite has a wall of windows to look out at the mountains. Not a bad thing to look at in the morning. All in all a good value.

Seldovia is adorable with views of mountains (if not cloudy). It has everything we needed plus the extra touches that makes a place feel special whether it was the coffee pods, ready to go, extra oatmeal for breakfast, or the welcome chocolates, or bathroom essentials. The bed was comfy, kitchen stocked, and even free shows to watch on tv. Host was responsive and checking in and out was smooth. Thanks for a wonderful stay and visit to Seward area.

A great location so close to downtown Seward. Beautiful property. The only feedback I have is that it should disclose that it is a shared home. So if you are in the bottom unit, you will hear people upstairs walking and their conversation. It didn't bother me because I wasn't there as often, but it did bother the other person I was traveling with that stayed in the unit the majority of the stay.

What a great little cabin in the trees! The home was very clean and the views off the deck were incredible! The bed was comfy too! Located just minutes from many activities and the charming town of Seward! There was quite a bit of noise from overhead as there is a second story unit above. You can hear their footsteps quite loudly but it didn’t bother us much and because everything else was delightful and perfect, we still give this wonderful cabin 5 shining stars. Owners were great with communication as well! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Perfect Seward Getaway!

We were in town for a few days fishing and getting ready for a wedding! The place was absolutely perfect! The hosts have thought of everything you need for a relaxing place just minutes from the Seward waterfront! We will absolutely look to stay here again on our next visit!

Stunning

The cabin was exactly as described, clean, convenient, and absolutely beautiful views of the mountains. Host respected privacy but always available iif needed.

Great place in Seward!

We loved our stay at the Seldovia house! It had everything we could possibly need (including bear spray!). Quiet neighborhood but close to Seward. We would definitely stay here again!

Even better in person

Host gave good details on how to find rental and easy check in. Very clean and inviting. Provided great info on local restaurants, shops,& points of interest. Noise from upstairs was typical for being on ground level.

If you’re a light sleeper, do not choose this place. Thought I’d mention initially so it’s not buried in a positive review. There are people above you and it’s quite noisy. In our brief stay, there were loud adults and kids running all over the floor. Also their was a wet floor by living room bed, and plates are mostly chipped. Otherwise the host, the layout, the location, the general condition and cleanliness of the place are excellent.

Great stay!

This was my husband and I's first time visiting Alaska. Not only was this house affordable, it was clean and had all of the amenities that we would need as well. It was a great location - just outside of Seward but still quiet in the evenings. Shirley and her husbands were great hosts. 100% would come back!

Perfect place for our needs!

Was a great place for myself and two daughters… felt spoiled after cabin camping and went on to tent camping after. Shirley even provided an air mattress so we could each have our own bed after sleeping side by side all week lol. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom!
