We just completed a stay in Casa Catedral and I have mixed feelings. Positives:-Location is as central as it gets. -View from the terrace is spectacular, especially at night. -I slept well here. I loved the crisp sheets and the pillows were comfortable.--VEO was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The AC quit working soon after we arrived and they got someone over there within the hour who was able to get it going again. (But more on that later.) Negatives:-This is my main complaint. The furnishings in this apartment are NOT the same as what is pictured in the listing. The furniture in the VRBO listing make this look like a luxury apartment, but the furniture that is actually in the apartment is 3* at best. Instead of the nice plump rust colored sofa and chairs pictured online they have two worn naugahyde sofas. Same with the dining chairs. And the terrace doesn't have the attractive mesh chairs either.-We were lucky that we didn't need all 4 bedrooms because the cooling capacity was insufficient to cool the living room and all 4 bedrooms at the same time.-The kitchen is haphazardly equipped. For example, 14 dinner plates but only 1 proper wine glass. For an apartment in this price range they should do better. Overall, what you are paying for at Casa Catedral is the location and the terrace. As long as you're not expecting a luxury apartment you'll be fine here.
