Historical House Overlooking Gardens of Alcazar Palace

  • Casa Alcázar is a magnificent three-story property located literally next to the Alcázar of Seville, one of Spain’s most important and visited monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood.

    The house features a living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two terraces, with capacity for 8 guests. The living room offers comfortable sofas for everyone, while the kitchen dining table comfortably seats 4 (up to 6).

    Upon entry, there is a small hall with a cleaning room equipped with a washing machine, iron, and other utensils. To the right is a bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower; to the left, another bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom.

    One floor up is the fully equipped kitchen and two more bedrooms, each with two single beds and en-suite bathrooms. One of these bedrooms shares a wall with the Alcázar, visible in the photos.

    On the top floor is the cozy living room with quality sofas and TV, which leads to two terraces: a large one with sun loungers and a canopy perfect for relaxing, and a smaller one with a table and chairs offering exceptional views of one of the most beautiful areas of the Alcázar gardens, with which it also shares a wall.

Weekend break

Property location couldn’t have been better. Our group was 8 adults and there was enough room for all of us to sit together in the lounge. Lovely outside space for morning coffee - small, but enough space for a few of us to sit. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Sevilla

We stayed 2 nights and the location is wonderful. We came by car and got lost trying to find it because there is no parking on the street. We found a parking garage nearby and had to lug all of our suitcases through the plaza to get to the apartment. So if you have multiple suitcases that could be a challenge, especially if you have small children or elderly that can’t walk too far and push luggage. The Alcázar had the light show while we were there and it was nice to sit on the balcony and see a glimpse of the show. Overall we had a great time.

Amazing location in the heart of Sevilla

Apartment was perfect for our group of 8, with 4 bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms. Location could not be beat in the heart of the Old quarter. The apartment is literally built on the wall of Alcazar, and the balcony gives a private view into the grounds. Amazing at night to see it and in the morning before the tourists have access. Would absolutely recommend this unit to everyone. We were two families and it was perfect for our little humans!

Location!! Location!! Location!!

Get lost in the endless cobblestone pathways surrounding the apartment. Wonderful restaurants and shopping right outside the door. Major sights are steps away. The apartment is situated at t dead end street attached to the Real Alcazar. Beautiful Balcony overlooking to gardens. Very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Suitable for a small family or just adults. Well appointed (coffee maker could be larger though), linens and towels provided. A few things to be aware of...the bottom floor bedrooms are street level and right next to the front door (not great for kids), it does become noisy in the morning hours with tourists and other work going on in the area, after a rain the street sewers to have a pungent odor but it does dissipate. Overall I would highly recommend the apartment for a stay in Sevilla!!!

5 días marabillosos en este fabuloso apartamento. Pared con pared con el Alcazar. Apartamento limpio, con todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia. La persona que nos vino a dar las llaves muy amable. Fantastico, para grupos.Sin duda, si volvemos a Sevilla repetiremos

Incredible location and great amenities

This is a very well outfitted, spacious apartment that shares a wall with the gardens of the Real Alcazar. Checkin was a breeze and the representative provided excellent recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommended.

Location, location, location

This property was in the best neighborhood in Sevilla. The bed rooms are on the small side and the property is very vertical so know that. Lovely, bright decor and lots of windows. The one upper deck is on a slant which is as kind of odd and made it less usable and the other small balcony has an amazing view of the alcazar but The owners should update the furniture on that deck because it’s one of the prime parts of this property. I would definitely stay here again and seriously you cannot get better in terms of location.

The pictures are accurate of the unit. Location is the absolute best, right in heart of Santa Cruz. Walking distance to everything. If I ever am lucky enough to go to Seville again, I would absolutely stay here. Host was very helpful too

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous house: there were six of us, me with my three teenage / young adult daughters and my friend with her daughter. Perfect location for touring, gorgeous home! We went for a long weekend in December. It was cold at night (bring scarf and gloves). We did a 'get your guide' tour which was brilliant too. I read about the slight whiff of sewage in a previous review, and there is an ever so slight smell on the ground floor, but not bad enough to spoil our stay. Only thing I would have wished for was some tips and recommendations for restaurants, local coffee/bread shop and other info like opening/closing times of shops near by, to save us searching. Do also note, that you can really hear people talking outside in the street (especially at night).. ear plugs might be handy if you are a light sleeper. Having said this, none of this detracted from our stay and we would definitely recommend and would book again when we next return to Seville! Thank you!

Wonderful location , particularly views over alcazar garden.

Overall was just lovely for 3 people, but would not have liked it for 8! The balcony and outside table only sit 2 and that was one of the best features of property. Kitchen was too dark and again too cramped for 8. One real negative was that the downstairs bedrooms smelt , mainly of damp , but occasionally worse! Was obvious as soon as entered property.

Super townhouse close to all amenities.

Enjoyed our short city break at this clean and well equipped townhouse. It was very quiet, as it is situated in a pedestrianised street, yet close to all the major sights. View from the outside terrace of the Alcazar gardens are superb. Would recommend this to future travellers.

It was stunning, extremely conveniently located

This proved to be an incredible experience. The property has been refurbished beautifully, but you still have an amazing feeling on staying in a very historic place. The terrace for the house is above the gardens of the Alcazar and one of the bedrooms has a wall adjoining the Alcazar as well. You really can not ask for a better location. Teresa, who checked us in was very helpful in giving us a map and pointing out different restaurants in the area and answering some questions we had. We had two surprises, one was that you can not park in that area, as the streets are old stone, but they guided us to a parking lot near us which worked out well. We don't travel light, so having to drag 5 large suitcases through those streets was challenging. There as a really bad odor in the bottom floor and apparently there is a leak in the bedroom with 2 debs in the bottom floor as well, more than likely from the dishwasher so we just stopped using the dishwasher and washed the dishes by hand instead. This is absolutely a property we would recommend and return to.
