Check in was easy, an employee met me at the front door of the building, you just have to coordinate your arrival time. I was contacted on WhatsApp prior to my arrival requesting my estimated time of arrival.
It may be a studio but there is no shortage of storage. The place was nicely stocked with coffee, olive oil/vinegar and sugar/salt packets, garbage bags, laundry soap, cleaning products and everything you’d need in the kitchen (Tupperware containers, colander, serving bowls/plates, cutting board, lots of pots/pan choices, etc). The place I stayed before in Malaga didn’t have anything (colander, cutting board, knives we’re dangerous dull, etc.) had to keep my left overs in the pan in the fridge because there was nothing to put it in.
The bed here was very comfortable, the down comforter was dreamy. Couch was also comfortable. TV can do Netflixs, Amazon Prime, etc., and lots of channels.
The view was great, it was fun watching all the kayakers and people going by on paddle boards and other boats. Beautiful sunrises! Easy to walk to all the major highlights in the city. Great dining and grocery shopping all within blocks. I think a taxi from any train station or airport is going to be much easier than public transit though.
The only thing I couldn’t figure out was an odd smell that would come and go? I couldn’t tell if it was from the river? It almost smelled propane-like though? Or even mold? There were air fresheners tucked all over the place so my guess is, this is an ongoing thing. It’s not intolerable? Also, there’s a washer and clothes pins but I didn’t find a clothes line? Just draped clothes over the chairs on the patio.
All in all it was a great stay.
