First, the view was amazing! We love the location, which is close to everything from Dollywood to shopping to restaurants. We were looking forward to seeing the fireworks from the balcony, but realized there were none the weekend we were there. The roads to the cabin were quite steep. Watch your step outside carefully because we almost had a couple of people roll down the hill! :) Check-in was a breeze. We were missing the sheets for the two sofa beds so I called the owner and within 30 minutes he brought them. We later realized the 1st floor bedding was blood stained from the comforter down to the sheets. We washed the sheets ourselves. My guess is the previous guests didn't unmake the bed, and the housekeeper probably thought they were clean. Thankfully, I brought detergent. The kids (ages 3-7) loved the 1st floor games. The air hockey table didn't blow air, but they still played with it. We had plenty of paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper for our crew. We ran out of hot water once, but that was after filling up the jacuzzi upstairs. Otherwise, we had enough for everyone but we also timed our showers so we weren't all showering back-to-back just in case! Overall, we had an enjoyable trip and the amazing view was worth it!
