Breathtaking views and loved the movie theater!

We have been to the area 5 times now, and this cabin by far had the best views. The accommodations were perfect (we had 2 adults and 4 teenagers). 3 bathrooms each having 2 sinks was a bonus for our crew. There were 2 additional bathrooms that we never even used. The loft had a desk and was great for the days I needed to work (while I looked out a huge window). The movie theater was used every single night by our teenagers. It was perfect! Very few houses in the area have full size theaters like this one. Finally, Mindy, the owner, was excellent with her service and communications. She responded to every email within an hour. When we needed new remote control batteries, a light bulb for the microwave and a part for our toilet, she had a maintenance crew and an Amazon delivery the very next day! Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this cabin. We will definitely be back.

Best Familymoon Ever!

We booked our stay without ever being in the smokies. My husband and I just got married on 11/11. We decided instead of a honeymoon we wanted to go on a familymoon to combine our blended family and have an experience that would be remembered by all. Everyone said it was the best trip and the cabin definitely had something for everyone. We would absolutely recommend booking it or any other cabins Mindy and her family own. They are amazing hosts. Perfect for a family

We stayed at Sweet Mountain Retreat for 4 nights, and it was perfect for our family with young teens! They had a blast playing ping pong, air hockey, and xbox! The movie theater was also a fun surprise for them! My favorite part was the view - miles of quiet rolling hills with incredible sunrise and sunset views! Super clean inside and out and teens enjoyed all the game entertainment. Would suggest coffee for first night, toilet paper, spices (including salt/pepper, kitchen sponge pad and paper towels for entire stay.

Perfect!!

Our stay at Sweet Mountain Retreat was perfect! Everything about the house was great. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was very clean upon arrival, the theater room was a hit, there were plenty of games for the kids/adults to play, and the view off the back decks was simply amazing! The house is just a short drive to many things in nearby Pigeon Forge. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Great house. Great host

We (6 guys) stayed in this house for 4 days on a guys trip and had a great time. Plenty of stuff to do with the ping pong, air hockey, poll table, theater, and arcade. It also isn’t very far away from the tourist attractions. When we had questions and messaged the host, she responded swiftly and provided answers, despite it being pretty late at night. Only downside we encountered is that depending on how much you fill up trash bags you will probably have to buy some trash bags on your own. At the time we went, there was only one extra bag in the kitchen. That being said, we did leave the ones we bought, so the next guest will be lucky and have plenty. Also the top floor with the pool table gets quite warm, so make sure you turn those fans on as soon as you get there. We would definitely book here again.

This cabin is modern and well kept, with plenty of room and games/theater to keep everyone happy if you have a rainy day. Beautiful views of the mountains. And we even had a bear stop by for a photo op.

Best VRBO We Have Used!!

This was hands down the cleanest and best prepared VRBO we have used in over 5 years of renting houses. The place was immaculately cleaned, the communications extremely prompt and courteous, and the check-in / check-out and property usage instructions very detailed and thorough, yet also thoughtfully prepared and easy to follow. Amazing views from the house, in a nice neighborhood surrounded by other high end rentals and nice homes. The kids loved all of the entertainment as well. Highly recommended!!

Sweetest Mountain Retreat

From the moment we drove up to beautiful log home we knew that we had made a wonderful choice. Walking in we noticed the the wall of windows that faced the breath taking views of the mountains. The kitchen is wonderful and perfectly stocked with everything you can imagine utensil wise. The 2 master bedrooms each have a walk in closet, master bath with double sinks, a shower and large tub. The loft has a pool table and it's own bathroom. The lower level contains the laundry room, game/rec room 3rd bedroom with 2 bunkbeds (1 twin size and 1 we believe might be a queen size bunk)as well as a full size bathroom and home theater. Hot is on the lower desk. Both decks run across the full length of the cabin and contain composite rockers and high top tables with 4 chairs each. The entire unit is perfectly clean when you arrive and smells absolutely wonderful inside. There's a charcoal grill outside, flat screen tvs in every room and views that pictures don't do justice. As a married couple we enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast out on the upper deck each morning. We absolutely loved every minute we were inside Sweet Mountain Retreat and plan on returning. We do have to say that the property owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and our needs during our entire stay of 8 days. I've already recommended SMR to 5 friends family and will continue to do so. Have a wonderful time if you decide to stay here and take care of it so its just as wonderful the next time we visit.

Fantastic Property in an excellent area

We loved staying here. Very clean and well maintained. So much to do. We had a rainy day and no one complained. We had fun just staying in and watching a movie in the theater room and playing pool and all the other games. The view is beautiful. We loved drinking our coffee or just sitting on the deck to look at the mountains.

Our family stayed for a long-extended weekend at Sweet Mountain Retreat. We had an absolute amazing time at the house. There was plenty of things to do in the house, almost to much as our kids wanted to stay in the house more than going out and doing activities. Weekend trip

Our friend group had a great time relaxing and reconnecting over the weekend. The cabin was amazing with so much for us all to do. The theater room was definitely a hit and It was the most talked about. Everything was beautifully decorated and clean. Everyone was all smiles all weekend. Hope we can stay again in the future!
