We had a wonderful visit! The house was terrific in every way; clean, welcoming, set up well, nicely decorated. We esp enjoyed the open concept kitchen and living room, where we all hung out together- and easily moved back and forth to the deck. Having all the bedrooms on one floor was also really nice; and the convenience of having the bedrooms on the entry level was so handy - esp when bringing our luggage in and out. And lastly, I wasnt sure how much we'd use the lower level, but our teenagers hung out there the entire time! Playing pool, relaxing in the movie room, sitting in the hot tub - and using the swimming pool! We all absolutely loved the house (and the view! - even saw a bear!). Overall, we thought the house was one of our favorite parts of the trip!

Beautiful Home

We had such a great vacation. The house & view was beautiful. It was clean & comfortable and fully stocked with necessities. Plenty to do in the house and so much to do in the area, rain or shine. We got to see several bears in the area which we loved. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous property

Pictures do not do this property justice. It is gorgeous with fabulous views and the nicest furniture I have experienced in a rental. I was hesitant to rent this property since it was managed by a property management company. There was nothing to worry about in this instance. All of the basics were included. The area is so peaceful and quiet. The view is so magnificent. Honestly, I wish I could just buy the house and furniture. It’s that thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and cared for. The outside fireplace did not work at first. Julie sent a great video very quickly and my husband got the fireplace going in no time. The “chores” were minimal and reasonable - basically don’t make the bed and do take out the trash. Easy peasy. The only downside was the pool. The chlorine in the pool room air made both my husband and myself instantly have watery eyes and start sneezing. We could only stay in the room about 15 minutes. We tried a second time for a shorter period of time with the same results. I would be cautious if sensitive to strong chemical smells. Note - the smell was not evident outside the pool room. I’ve already sent the link to two colleagues, although I confess that part of me does not want to share it with them. Thank you,Julie, for a life-changing stay!

Never had to leave.

My family and I had a great time at this beautiful cabin during our weekend getaway. There is so much to do that you don't even need to leave. Julie was also super responsive and helpful with any questions I had. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The hot water was not hot at all. Whoever cleaned they didn’t let the towels get dry enough and put them up wet. They were hard and smelled. Apparently they were in a hurry to leave. It was still a nice get away. I would address those concerns. Thank you!

What A Amazing Experience!

From the Checking to a Stay / Instructions and Communications I couldn't ask for more. If you are looking for a Cabin with a View look no further. I wanted to make a memorable experience for my Brother that is getting married soon and let just say he was blown away by the cabin / views and overall experience. Julie was more than helpful and came through with everything we ask for. Thank You will definitely come back for sure. Amazing Stay /Amazing Views/ Amazing Experience/ Amazing Cabin!!!!!!

Absolutely Amazing

We booked this chalet on a very short notice to celebrate my hubby's birthday. Julie was very timely in her responses AND the chalet was just as pictured. Everything was clean, the house was adequately stacked with a few welcome items that eliminated the immediate need to go to the grocery store. The onsite charging station for our electric vehicle was an extra bonus and eliminated our need to have to go in town for a charge. Lastly, the pool was so very nice. Our kids spent most of the time there. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Great Location & House. Some Cautions.

Beautiful home. Prior to arrival communication was great via email so I never thought to check for emergency phone number which in the 30+ years we’ve rented across US, Canada & Europe is standard. I won’t make that mistake again. Upon arrival there was no electricity in the three level home, no running water, no working toilets. Realize there’s no lights on the mountain either so when night comes, it’s dark it’s really dark. We were provided with three very small battery lights, two jugs of water, some batteries, and great resistance to giving us an emergency number for property management. We had small children and it was very scary….never told when you lose power you lose water and toilets too. After an awful first night power was restored. Other than that, minor things - the grill being extremely old, dirty and nearly impossible to start, and nearly every time we used the clothes washer - which was new - it tripped the circuit. Don’t get me wrong. We were - during the emergency - finally provided with a phone number of Julies assistant who tried very hard to help. It is a great location and house. Just know when you book to get an emergency phone, pack survival stuff to survive any power outages, and don’t let the grill or power-tripping clothes washer surprise you. Outages happen. We simply urged the management company to handle emergency comm through phone not email. It’s simply not appropriate level of service and safety especially for a premium priced home.

A perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation!

Smoke on the water is absolutely gorgeous! The house is well maintained, very clean, & had everything we needed for our relaxing vacation. I really appreciated that all the bedrooms are on the same level since we had children with us & the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & large enough for all of us to hang out together while we cooked. The views were beautiful from the balcony & we enjoyed just sitting outside together while we had our morning coffee! The kids loved the indoor pool & game room & I loved that the pool room had a keypad lock on it for safety. We didn’t need to get in contact with the owner during the stay for anything but Julie sent plenty of emails beforehand to make sure we had all the information we needed. Five stars all the way around & I would definitely stay here again!

Majestic view

The photos of this property are exactly what you will find upon arrival. The house is beautifully designed with views from all 3 levels. The bed was so comfortable and all things you would need at your own home were provided. The host was prompt in regards to returning emails with questions, any concerns we may have, etc. We saw a black bear eating berries in the yard below the balconies, which was so exciting! The balconies are private from the adjacent home. There is ample parking which made it easy for us to turn around in drive. The location is perfect. We were easily able to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park quickly. We would recommend this property!! It’s beautiful, location is great and host was wonderful!
