We had a great time, this was our second time staying with them and have absolutely nothing negative to say. The cabin is perfect, nice and peaceful area, I would highly recommend it. Just book it, you won’t regret it. Everything was nice and clean. We loved the fireplace, we got a bit a snow and it was just perfect. We will definitely be back with the family again!! Thank you!

We had a great stay. The host was very welcoming and easy to communicate. We loved the location of the cabin. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the cause the bed upstairs was terribly uncomfortable. Also, better instructions for the WiFi would be very helpful. I had forgotten if it required a password but once at the cabin the cellphone service doesn’t work so trying to open my email to read the welcome brochure again was nearly impossible. I suggest posting info somewhere in the cabin. Oh and the first night we couldn’t even use the hot tub because it was turn so far down that it took forever to heat up. My kids were so disappointed. Thank you from the Davis family.

Very clean and neat property. Enjoyed the fire and the fireflies. Close enough to all the activities in both Pigeon forge and Gaitlinburg. Owner very responsive, and gives you a book via email with all the ins and outs of the property and local spots.

Great location!

Awesome cabin that accomodated 6 comfortably! Location was close to Pigeon Forge and a lot of action! We went the days after Christmas which everything was packed with people but the cabin allowed for us to have a video game challenge, small pool tournament, hot tub time, learn new card games and enjoy our family's vacation! (There is some road noise but the owner supplied box fans drowned it out somewhat) All and all would definitely recommend!

Super cozy

Loved this place!!! Cabin was cozy and clean. The Christmas decorations were an awesome and appreciated touch to our stay. The cabin was away from the business but close to everything. Definitely would recommend staying here to anyone.

Family mini getaway

We love to visit the mountains to see the beautiful Christmas lights! The cabin was clean and in a great location. Would definitely recommend! Check in was easy and the owners were quick to respond to any questions.

Amazing Stay

Our overall experience staying at this beautiful cabin was a very positive one. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had and communication was wonderful from the time we booked our stay to the day we left. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed - they thought of it all! We enjoyed spending our evenings playing pool or the arcade. The beds were comfortable and having the box fan upstairs helped with the street traffic. We did give 5 stars but I will say we did not realize the cabin was situated right off the main road, which does get alot of traffic. That was a slight disappointment since the pictures made it look like it was more private. We were not far from all activities, which was great! Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, The Island, Jayell Horseback riding and ATV, Dollywood, Beyond the Lens, Pottery House are just to name a few! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin!

Beautiful cabin

Everything was beautiful. Enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi. Very cozy cabin. Close to all attractions and stores. Awesome place. The owner kept intouch which was a great. I would highly recommend it for vacation spot.

Riding the dragon

We stayed at bears nook. We are from arkansas and we trailered our motorcycle to this property. It was one of the only ones that allowed trailers. The hosts provided towels for the hot tub and resort pool, coffee for the keurig, a pool table, and a hot tub. The property was close to everything we wanted to do. Scott was very committed nicative and booking and our stay was easy. Highly recommend bears nook! We even saw a black bear!!

Family & Budget friendly

Overall a great stay! Scott responded quickly when I messaged him at the beginning of our stay. The master bed was comfy. I think my husband finally convinced me to replace our mattress at home because of how well he slept here. I was glad the kitchen knives were sharp (other places we’ve stayed this was not the case). And thankful there was some coffee for the beginning of our stay - cause for some reason I always forget to get some! It would have been nice to have some cleaning spray or wipes available - but we picked some up at the dollar general not too far away. I can’t comment on the jetted tub in the master bath. Or the hot tub. We didn’t end up using either. But I was thankful the shower stayed hot, I hate when water turns cold in the middle. We did manage to use the pool twice while we were here. It was pretty busy (not surprising cause it was in the 90s) but not overwhelmingly crowded. They have a cafe available but we didn’t utilize that so I can’t speak on the quality of the food. Having a bigger vehicle sometimes it was difficult to get out of the driveway because of the traffic. But nothing too horrible. Location was great for all the things we wanted to do in the area. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Just What We Needed

We are very happy with our stay at the Bear Nook Cabin! It had everything our family needed and more. The location is minutes away from downtown Pigeon Forge. My favorite spot at the cabin was the back porch swing, while my husband and sons enjoyed the game room. The booking process was super easy, as was the check in/out process. Communication with Scott was 5 stars!!! Would highly recommend booking Bear Nook for your next trip.

Great Property and Family Cabin

We spent the weekend over mother’s day with our 2 year old and all had a blast. Lots of firsts for her and a great location to still be close to food and activities. Owner was very quick to answer any questions and help in any way!

Home was clean and sufficient for my husband and I and our 2 year old. We set up a pack n play in the bedroom upstairs and he slept great. Our 2 year old LOVED the small arcade upstairs. By the end of our trip he was asking to play Galaga, Frogger, and Pac-Man 😄 The hot tub was also a highlight!

Perfect location for your getaway

Our stay at the cabin was AMAZING! The best part is the location. Unlike a lot of other rentals in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg, you are not on top of other cabins. Yes there are neighbors, so youre not totally secluded, but it's so nice to actually have ROOM in this area! Also, it is CLOSE to town, but not TOO close. It's away from crowds of the main strip, so you can actually relax at night. No other rental cabin stacked on top of, or underneath you, so no loud, obnoxious parties to keep you up at night. A house a little down the street does have roosters, so you will have a natural alarm clock every morning around 6 am, but I'm used to hearing that here at home (and I actually like it anyways). Everyone had a blast. The kids had plenty to keep them busy for the few short hours we were in the cabin in the evenings & mornings. I could have sat on the back porch and listened to the creek all night, it was so calming. All and all, it was a fantastic experience. HIGHLY recommend this cabin over all the previous places we've stayed at so far in PF/Gatlinburg. You WON'T regret it.

Family Vacation

I unfortunately was unable to attend the vacation because of an unexpected family emergency, but my husband, our 15 month old daughter & my in laws had a great stay! The cabin was spotless and just as listed. The beds, down to the sofa beds were comfortable. The patio was peaceful, even off of the busy road. The only issue they faced was the hot tub would not get hot. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Cabin

This cabin was very nice, my fiance and I enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool table and hot tub and the arcade machine was fun too. It was in a great location as well, close to all the pigeon forge attractions.
