The views were truly amazing, especially at sunset. It has a well equipped kitchen and plenty of entertainment/games. Loved having 3 bedrooms with king sized beds and their own bathrooms. Location was fabulous too. It felt far away, but it was a short drive into town. Location, views, space, being well equipped, and the hosts responsiveness were all 5 star. The not so great stuff... Lady bugs, stink bugs, upstairs water pressure, stability of water temperature, comfiness of beds, towels.There is nothing that the owner can do about this due to laws, but the lady bugs inside the house were plentiful. They actually have a sign in the house telling you about the issue. Our bathtub was a graveyard for them. And stinkbugs were easily spotted throughout as well. Friends staying on the main floor ended up having one person sleep on the couch so the other could find a spot that was comfortable. The host was responsive and said he would look into this. The water pressure in the upstairs shower was lacking, and honing in on a comfortable water temp was difficult too. We were hoping to use the hot tub, but we did not know to bring extra towels. There were a total of 9 towels, one per max number of guests. Not enough for 6 people to have one for a shower and one for the hot tub. Not a big deal, just a detail that would be good to know going in. They did have a washer and dryer of you wanted to do laundry in between.

Beautiful cabin with tons of space. The hot tub was amazing! Opened up the French doors during a lazy day & it was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. Host responded very quickly and after hours as well! Absolutely recommend this cabin! Only con is the driveway is gravel with a steep grade on it, but is absolutely manageable.

Perfect hideaway cabin just 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Room for the whole family. All amenities a family could need for a full week stay. Gorgeous sunset views from multiple balconies.

The views from here are spectacular! We loved the location and the weather was sunny most of the time we were there. There were so many different types of plant life - loved seeing it, but my allergies did not. lol. Each of the bedrooms had a whirlpool bathtub and a TV, which was nice, since I came with family. The kitchen was fully stocked and the downstairs room with the theatre seating was a very nice touch, although watching movies was hard due to the the internet not really functioning most of our stay. To the credit of the company managing the property though, they did try to fix it. They sent someone out on one day, who was unable, but did send another one later on, who was able to get it working. I would say to others going there, the staircases to get upstairs or downstairs are very narrow. If you have elderly individuals or those with medical conditions, they should definitely stay on the main level. The area is situated in the middle of everything - not far from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Cade's Cove, which we visited three times while we were there. We did indeed, see a lot of wildlife including bears, wild horses, deer, turkeys and a coyote! The only suggestion I might have is to include at least one full-length mirror in the house, as there weren't any in any of the rooms. Other than that, we loved our place, and the area!

The views were amazing. We loved the location. All the bedrooms were great. My kids loved playing on the pool table. It felt like a cozy cabin in the mountains just what we are looking for.

Amazing view!

It was a great place to stay and the view was just incredible! I have stayed at a few places in the Smoky Mtns and I think this cabin had the best view of any I have ever been too. Super happy with it!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

We wanted a place that felt like a private cabin in the mountains but close to town. And that’s what we got. It was centrally located to our activities and a great place to be at the end of the day. The views were stunning and the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It had a big table for family game night and lots of room and seats on the balconies to enjoy the quiet evening sunsets and each level gave our group space and privacy.

A little piece of heaven

Our stay at Walk in the Clouds 2 was heavenly. The cabin was beyond perfect in location and layout. Our plan was to spend the day in Sevierville enjoying rides and attractions but we never left the cabin. It was tranquil and peaceful. With 2 teens and an 11 year old, the time we spent as a family was the best ever. Thank you for helping us make lifetime memories.
