Great location!

Appreciated the location. Very close to Dollywood, but in a gated community. Very comfortable. Cabins are very close together- so not always ideal if you are wanting to have some quiet outside. Loved the pool table! Cleanliness - quite dusty. Had trouble knowing what remotes went with the TVs - a fire wound have been helpful. Would have loved to have had another deadbolt to lock- all exterior doors.

Would not recommend

This cabin was very dirty. The coffee maker was dirty and broke. The keurig was nasty. Dirty fork in bedroom nightstand, socks and chips in the floor, trash behind the trash can and behind the nightstands, fans dirty, cob webs everywhere, I could on. I would not recommend this cabin.

Beautiful view.

It is a beautiful spot. We saw a adorable family of bears(not aggressive) multiple times. The sun sets are breathtaking from the front porch. I love that we could bring our pups. It was a cute cabin. The only down sides: the drive way is pretty rough on the bottom of a minivan. There was a hive of carpenter bees living in the front porch. But they aren't aggressive. I just added in case someone has a fear of bees. The cleanliness was not what I would expect from a rental. However,The staff is great if you mention an issue the can right out. The hot tub needed service when we got there. They were there in no time. The communication was great.

Housekeeping sucks

Over all enjoyed our time; but as soon as we got there I had to pick up after housekeeping; dirty dishes, blankets all over the floor, beds weren’t made, no sheets or pillow cases, throw pillows were everywhere, and the kitchen table chairs were spread all over the cabin. Not to mention when I had to take out all the nasty linens left behind, I had to take out a nasty looking foam bed topper and they just left it on the porch. I paid a housekeeping fee to do their job for them. Definitely won’t be booking with them again.

Nightmare

After booking property management would NOT supply address. Thought it was weird but I had already paid in full so no choices at that point. Drove 9 hours to get there and still no address. Called them and they said they would get the address to us by 4pm and to go shopping. We did go grocery shopping and it was then after 4pm check in… still no address. They claimed there was a delay in cleaning and the man actually laughed at us. Several hours later after panicking to find other accommodations they finally emailed the addresses. Most the groceries spoiled. It was now dark and raining and we were to find our way up a mountain with narrow roads and infrastructure damage. Would have been okay if we were allowed access during the promised check in time. The office then says check in is after 4pm so they decide when after 4pm. Then the cabin was filthy. I have several pictures to prove. The accommodations listed where in disrepair. The pool table was not usable and the sticks didn’t have tips. There wasn’t enough hot water to fill 1/3 of the tub. The furnace filter looked like it had not been changed in at least a year. We had to go purchase cleaning products to make it livable. We requested a refund on one night and the cleaning fee. They refused and only offered a coupon book that was useless. We travel a lot and I will never associate with this company again. In fact I may not even use VRBO if this is the type of people they promote. Terrible

Not very clean

The property was nice, but the floors were not very clean, the bed spread in the one bedroom had dog feces on it, there was dust and cobwebs everywhere, and the shower in the master bath did not work (there was no way to divert water to the shower head). There were remotes in the bedroom without batteries as well. The pool was cloudy and run down and also freezing. For a year round pool, the heater should have been turned on.

Fall Vacation

We enjoyed our stay over fall break. The cabin has a great location, close to Dollywood. Lots of amenities. Overall we really liked the cabin. The only recommendation that I could make would be to add dusting to the cleaning process. Lots of spiderwebs in the ceilings.

Our vacation stay in the mountains

The property was clean and spacious .views were wonderful from the front porch . Hot tub was clean and perfect temp . Enjoyed playing pool and cards every night . Cooked out on the grill and overall great stay !

Reasonable expectations

The cabin and neighborhood provide some nice scenic views, however the roads are a little steep and my wife had some difficulty navigating the driveway the first time. The cabin was pet friendly and that was pretty apparent based on the smell, but we got used to it I suppose. Cleanliness was not the best, tons of pet hair/dust under most furniture and the glassware in the kitchen was pretty dirty. Lastly, I feel that the 10:00 am checkout is a little early especially for people coming in from other time zones. On the day we checked out, the cleaning lady pulled up at 9:20 am and parked outside until we left making us feel rushed.

Not quite as described!

The Buckhead cabin in Severville, TN was centrally located to access the National Park and the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas.. it was very easy to get around the area. Our diss appointment came in the cabin itself. The gated community was pretty nice. It was situated in a very steep hilly area. Not at all easy to walk with little or no grassy areas for our dogs. The driveway was wxtremsteep and our Avalon hut bottom almost every time we backed out!! The cabin permitted pets and we lived that amenity. We wondered if that was the reason the decor was old, miss matched furniture in the main living area. Seating was not comfurrabje at all. The wooden deck furniture was old and had never been cleaned or repainted. The grill was an old charcoal grill that hadn’t been cleaned in years and had standing water in it as did the two empty pots for plants. Nothing outside in the porches was inviting or confurtabke! The two bedrooms were ok. The l master bedroom had an old foam pad in the bed with no mattress pad. A bit tacky we thought. Overall the cabin was just had not been cared for in a long while. We could tell the owners were jags perhaps lost interest. We will not recommend to our friends. Sorry 😞

Cleanliness is next to Godliness

The place it's self was nice. However, we we're very displeased because it was very dusty!!! You can see the dust on the walls, lamp shades, on the ceiling, in corners and crevices. The bed cover and curtains didn't smell like they have been cleaned in sometime. We pulled a blanket out that was in a trunk in the living room area and it looked like it's been there for years! The furniture could use some upgrades as well. The chain to the toilet in one of the bathrooms kept coming off, so we had to keep fixing it. And the wifi password that they gave us did not work! We felt that there was no need to call anyone to fix anything because right after we booked they sent an email with all kinds of rules and regulations that basically said you're pretty much on your own if anything goes wrong or you would be charged. So we just stuck it out. Overall the place was clean, except for the build up of dust, dirty blankets, curtains, outdated furniture and broken toilet.

Nice and Comfortable Cabin

Was nice and comfortable, faced the sunset with views. Cabin was nicely furnished and had many supplies provided. Internet was extremely slow but satellite tv was a nice treat.

They said we would get an email between 1-4pm that our cabin was ready. We got it after 4:20 pm and then when we got to the cabin the cleaning crew was still there, they did a poor job of cleaning and we found things from the previous tenants, looked like rugs were not vacuumed and there were cobwebs in ever corner and under cabinets some with spiders in them. The hot tub was lukewarm at best it never got hot. It was after 5pm when we got in the cabin and checkout time is by 10 am. For what we paid to stay I expected more

Great trip and terrific Cabin

The only thing I could possibly find wrong is a little more attention to cleaning the sofa sleeper. Other than that we absolutely loved the place and really enjoyed the view in the morning and evening. Thank you so much for the vacation.
