WOW! The view!

This cabin was amazing! The road leading to the cabin, a little nerve wracking but the view from the cabin ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I woke up every morning at 6am to watch the sunrise over the mountains! Out of all the cabins I have stayed in, this one has the most amazing view! Highly recommended!!!

Family Time at Thanksgiving

Home away from home feel.

This cabin was absolutely wonderful to stay at. Very clean, all the comforts of home you could want. The duel decks were amazing for relaxing on after a long day of exploring this breath taking area. Highly recommend staying here.

we enjoyed our stay but it was smaller than pictures made it appear, more of a 4 person rental I wouldn't recommend 6. Cleanly and beautiful decor. The nearby cabins were closer than we realized so it wasn't as peaceful (no fault of our host) we had a great trip overall

Quintessential Cabin

The best feature of this property is its relative privacy; many cabins near the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area are very close together or on top of one another. The property featured a wonderful view of the mountainside when standing or sitting on the deck facing that way. Our daughter loved sitting on the swinging chair facing that mountainside especially in the early morning reading her book. Upon our first entry a great "cabin smell" hit us and remained each time we entered. The cabin was very clean and featured a unique mountain/cabin decor and layout. We had a busy three day-four night stay and wished we could have spent a little more time at the cabin.

Homey with a view

Our family of 5 visited the area for the first time and had such a wonderful time. There was a perfect mix of activities and the house was a beautiful place to retreat to. My husband and I drank our coffee every morning that week watching the sun come up over the mountains on the front porch. The location was great because we were close to the tourist activities but not too close. The house was the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle. It wasn’t too far from it but we could get away from it too. We cooked most meals at the house. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The only complaint I had about it was we needed a couple more dish towels, dishwasher detergent and paper towels but other than that we had everything we needed. Ease of check in and check made everything very seamless. We truly had a wonderful family vacation.

Incredible!

The property is just as described and the pictures truly don’t do it justice. The view is amazing!! It rained a few days for a few hours. I absolutely love rain and hearing it echo off the mountains was so incredible. We saw a bear as we were coming down the mountain just a couple turns from the house. We had such a great time!!

Great cabin

Southern Drawl is a nice CLEAN log cabin In a quiet area. It isnt crowded by other nearby cabins, like many in the area. Wears valley is a nice change to avoid the chaos of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Kitchen had everything we would need, tv and internet worked good, decor was nice and "cabiny", mountain view was nice, and owners were nice to deal with. We didn't use the hot tub, as it was in the 80s much of the week. There were bear prints on the deck a few mornings, but we never did see it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, and not hesitate to come back in the future!

Great cabin, would go again!

Beautiful clean cabin, great views, and far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet. It was as advertised, and honestly exceeded our expectations. If we visit Pigeon Forge again this is absolutely where we would stay!
