Pros-Location is within 20 minutes of Pigeon Forge, the area is beautifulKitchen stockedGames were plenty to keep kids occupiedCons-porch screens were torndishes were cracked toaster didnt work properly, your toast burned everytime hot tub was dirty and the decking around it felt unsafe with ants everywhereLights in the shower area in some bathrooms didnt workLights on the outside porch didnt work so when the sun went down it was pitch black One of the theatre recliners seats didnt work fridge had missing side shelves and cracked Cob webs on all decor that were high and dust on ceiling fanRoaches ran around from closets and sofaWinding staircase from upper floor to lower level is very narrow not recommended for small childrenLiving room sofa uncomfortable and sucken supposed to be sleeper We encountered bears walking through the yardEncountered a mouse in the home came out of closet we were able to trap and scoot out the doorEncountered a baby cooperhead on porch which is normal thankfully we saw it during the day since again lights didnt workFlies swarmming from under kitchen cabinet last night i had to spray to kill themHost was communicated daily on these items he was very nice and offered to sesend maint & hspk I respectfully declined, it should have been right prior to arival for what I paid Asked for some refund for all agrevation before review host stated wont be held hostage its against vrbo rules he misunderstood as I was going to post either way

Family getaway

Me, my brother, sister and mom gathered to spend quality time! We stumbled upon The Island and had a great day. The pool and playground was a great way to spend some down time.

Spring Break with Family

We were very happy with the cabin and location, and the owners were very responsive. However, we had no hot water the entirety of the stay. The owner sent two men to fix it the next day, and for 2 hours we couldn’t use any water or toilets. The issue still wasn’t fixed for and the hot water never came on. We were very unhappy that we still had to pay full price.

Thanksgiving

Had a great time with my family. We enjoyed the theater room downstairs. Watched some football and a few movies, very nice setup. Thanksgiving dinner was great and the table was large enough to fit us all and the food. We enjoyed making new memories in your cabin. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Great Cabin

We had a wonderful getaway. Rooms were perfect and the views were great. Cabin had everything we needed. We needed help figuring something out, and they responded to us almost immediately. The only CON that our adult kids had, was it snowed the night that we left to come home :) Will rent again for our family vacation.

Night of Prom

My husband and I took a small group of kids for a night after the prom stay. This is actually our 3rd time at this particular one! It’s beautiful, very spacious, and great location!

Nice neighborhood

The neighborhood is very nice but we thought the cabin was much closer to the pond and playground. You have to drive to those things and the roads in the neighborhoods are very narrow, I wouldn’t feel safe walking. A few of the sinks didn’t drain hardly at all in the bathrooms. Multiple light bulbs were dim or out and you truly need to bring trash bags and paper towels. We stayed 3 days and figured we’d be fine but the kitchen trash can is not ideal and is very small so it fills up quickly. Please know there’s 2 bathrooms with doors leading to the screened in porch and the blinds are not in great shape so everyone on the porch can see into the bathrooms. In general the wood blinds were not in great working condition. It would be awesome if the downstairs room closest to the driveway on the lower portion had a keypad as well so you could come and go from that level if needed. We likely wouldn’t stay here again for the price but it was okay for 3 days.

Fun place to stay

We were pleasantly surprised and excited as soon we seen the covered bridge at the entrance of resort .On the way up to the cabin, there is a chapel, a cook out area, cute little creek running right through reosrt at entrance. My older kids enjoyed walking down to the basketball goals and hanging out. Cabin was gorgeous. There were a few issues with some of the arcade games working and alot of the board games were missing pieces.That was a little disappointing because we were looking forward to just hanging out and playing games. The room was clean but there were a few areas missed by the cleaners. Quite a few Long hairs on one of the end tables and a couple of the extra folded blankets in the closet were not washed before we arrived. I also had to remove the fitted sheet in master because there was a dirty spot when i pulled our covers back for the night. The host were sweet and even offered to bring up some extra remotes that had been ordered for the cabin. They responded quickly when we reached out to them at check in. I would definetly recommend this cabin to family and friends. We will book again. Im thinking a fall visit where we can enjoy the trees and outdoors a little more- This visit was unfortunately rainy and cold. I really wish we could have seen a bear also ,ha!

Beautiful property

The property is so beautifully situated amongst trees and hills. Awesome to have 2 king size beds and private bath. I would recommend for a vacation with just a few touch ups…some blinds and light bulbs need replaced/fixed. Quilt or heavier blankets on beds would be wonderful for those of us who get cold easily. Just a few coffee pods and snacks would be a great first impression. Overall, a wonderful experience for a get together with family and friends.

Family Vacation

Loved the property. Lots to do. Easy access to the parkway. Check in and out very easy. Property is clean. There were only a few negatives. There were a few roaches, appeared to come from the coffee pot. Notified the property manager who will let the exterminator know. Also there wasn’t enough cans to place the garbage outside for a large family. We have 1to 2 bags a night. So we had to leave it inside so visitors don’t get it. The stay was awesome. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and morning.
