Truly a wonderful stay! The beds were super comfy. The drive there was scenic but a little steep for someone who is used to flat roads. I would love to stay here again, Rod is sooo accommodating and answered all our questions.

This was a perfect get away spot for our family to celebrate the holiday. The cabin was immaculate from top to bottom and we had everything we needed and then some, to include a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. The western decor really added a fun touch especially the stagecoach bed. Checking in and out was super easy and Rod was in constant contact to check in and make sure everything was smooth. It is remotely located and the road is steep and curvy, which was fun for me in my mustang but others may not. Also the speed bumps in the complex are quite aggressive requiring a full stop.

Our biggest problem here was all of the spider webs and spiders EVERYWHERE . Even on the inside. We really couldn’t enjoy the whole cabin , like the upstairs deck because it was like infested. We never went up there again after seeing that. I know it’s in the woods and nature but I’ve been to the cabins multiple times and never had this issue. Maybe get the cleaners to knock them down after every visit , especially since there’s a cleaning fee attached to the booking. Also , the Olympic sized pool was not open as stated in the description which was a bummer. We were looking forward to the deli & a cleaner pool than the one on the actual resort. The Shagbark pool was filled with so many big centipedes, we could’ve gotten over the coldness of the pool but not those bugs. The folks at the deli were rude. They came and seen us outside and didn’t say a word so we assumed he was opening it up, came back out and got in his car and said “oh yeah we’re closed for the season” we felt like it was because of our skin , but I digress. The cabin host aware of it being closed early for the season for whatever reason. Other than that we really enjoyed our time here with family. It was very spacious inside and I loved how it looked inside as well. Rod was fast to respond to any issues or questions which is also a plus. Didn’t even wanna say anything negative because he was so kind but I think this cabin could use a lil more effort from the cleaners and it would be perfect.

My family ( 7 of us this trip) stayed for the week. We had a great time! Easy check in and check out. Beautiful cabin! Loved the hot tub! Great communication with owner. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was one of the best vacations we ever had! The cabin was beautiful, roomy and Rod was so helpful. You can tell they really care about their guests! We will surely be back! I told my daughter this will forever be our cabin in the woods!

Property was overall good! Easy to get to, spacious for the 5 of us. The only issue we had was with hot water, we just had to space out our usage of hot water with showers, laundry, and dishwashing. Not a big deal. The hot tub was a nice feature. We also got to see a few black bears.

The cabin was lovely and clean. Rod was easy to communicate with and highly responsive. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area without feeling crowded. We enjoyed the pool access and the other amenities.

Fun for All- In The Cowboy Cabin

The trip up to the cabin was peaceful and directions were easy to follow. The safety of the gated community brought us extra peace. Communication was excellent and everything easily available at the cabin to recreate the comforts of home.The hot tub and family friendly pool down the hill were an excellent added bonus. Lots of places to gather or be comfortable in a quiet space. The Wi-Fi was strong if you need to connect for work and multiple TVs and locations to meet everyone's viewing needs.We had 8 in our party from ages 3- 58 and everyone enjoyed their stay. If you enjoy seeing wildlife, this cabin doesn't disappoint. We saw a mama bear with 2 cubs and later ayoung male. They liked rolling in the Bubbling Brook in front of the cabin. We all agree that we would book this cabin again! The peaceful woods, ease of paved roads and location between so many favorites places made this the perfect place to stay.

Fun Getaway

Our family certainly enjoyed the cabin and our stay in the area. The first day we were there we saw a bear and her 2 cubs which our grandchildren loved watching.The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked in every evening. We loved having a grill to cook on . We loved the large table where we could all eat together.The bedrooms were all very accommodating for our family with 3 grandchildren.Rod was just a phone call away for any questions or concerns we had . He answered immediately and helped us out. Mark was also very helpful the day we couldn’t get the grill lit but it got all figured out. It is a very comfortable, relaxing, quiet cabin in a gated area. There are plenty of towels for a larger family which is something you don’t always find. I would recommend to anyone to enjoy the peace and quiet away from the downtown area.

Bubbling Creek

This cabin was even more amazing than we expected! Drinking coffee on the deck while listening to the creek was amazing! Everything was well stocked and beautiful. The beds were very comfy. The hot tub was warm and running when we arrived, and we saw bears the very first hour we were there. The bears are smart so lock your car as soon as you're finished unpacking. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had!!

Upstairs was not very clean:Bedroom had numerous cobwebs, beer can left in closet & half empty Gatorade bottle in a drawer. Bathroom had hair clumps in tub drain & on floor.

Perfect family Cabin

This cabin has everything you’re looking for. Enough beds, rooms, bathrooms and amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very clean. The kitchen was spotless and was supplied with salt, pepper, spices, all your dishes, cups, silverware, and many, Extra appliances. The creek that runs through the property was beautiful and you could sit on the deck and just listen to it. The kids loved watching the woodchuck that lived in the hill across the road, it stayed pretty close and just minded its own business. The area was very quiet and safe. This host went over and beyond anything I have seen at a Vrbo before!

Bubbling Creek

We loved this property. The photos didn’t do it justice! We were looking for a rustic cabin get away and we got just that. The property owner was very accommodating and was prompt with communications. We will definitely be back!

Early Family Christmas 🎄

We celebrated our Christmas 🎅 early with our young adult and late teen kiddos. This place was PERFECT 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 full baths and numerous gathering vignettes for meals, games, and couch conversations…the huge kitchen was amazing…we brought our smoker and made ribs and wings had such a great time together!!…we will be back…and we even had a proposal on the deck!!

Beyond fantastic!

The cabin was more than expected. Beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was top notch. It was also furnished with anything and everything you need. Rod was great to work with. Would absolutely start here again and would highly recommend to anyone

Weekend getaway

Rod was a terrific host and communicated directly when necessary. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed how peaceful it was. Low traffic, only two neighbors within view, yet not too far from town. What was supposed to be an anniversary trip turned into my two teens coming along to enjoy the stay. They loved having their own level for their rooms, looking at the beautiful fall leaves, and even getting to see a bear on the porch of our neighbor. Overall, it was a great trip and we will definitely be visiting this cabin in the future.
