Just what we needed

Mick’s Hideaway was perfect for our family! Our two teenagers enjoyed having the loft all to themselves and loved having their own half bath. My husband and I loved our room too! The bathtub was amazing. Both beds were super comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with any and everything we needed and the dishwasher worked great. It was also great having the washer and dryer to use so I didn’t have to worry about doing laundry as soon as we got home from our trip! We enjoyed not having wifi, but we did have phone service (Verizon). Waking up and sitting on the deck with our morning coffee while listening to the birds was such a wonderful way to start the day. And relaxing in the hottub at the end of the day was the perfect way to unwind. The outdoor temps ranged from the high ‘80’s to the low ‘40’s during our stay so we used the ac and heat and both worked great. We were so comfortable and relaxed throughout our entire stay and we look forward to visiting again!

Our stay

Loved the cabin and how it’s away from all the hustle of pigeon forge . the only thing they need to change is the hot tub , it wouldn’t get over 95 but we still enjoyed our stay .

A great place to unplug!

Mick's Hideaway was easy to find (with gps) and simi-secluded. Plus it was as cute and cozy on the inside as it was on the outside! The lack of internet didn't bother us as there was a nice selection of dvds and we brought some Christmas classics of our own. There was also decent cell service, which was a nice surprise, so we weren't totally isolated. The only issue was the hot tub. It was clean and full, but the jets were VERY weak and it would not hold temp. We had it set at the limit (104), but it kept dropping to 99 & 100. Not a comfortable temp for cold winter weather. We would consider staying at Mick's Hideaway again, but not in the winter when we count on the warmth of the hot tub.

Amazing stay

Property is wonderful. And don’t stress, it’s not a box tv. Only issue is out hot tub leaned a little making water spill out. But never got below level and we had some bigger people! Other than that place is great. Mick must have been a great Dog!

Our first trip to Tennessee!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the cabin was lovely. The quiet, secluded setting provided a much needed break from life in general. We found several things to do in the area and got lots of ideas for our next trip.

Nice cabin but needs some work.

It was a nice secluded cabin, but needs some work. The cleanliness wasn’t the greatest. Dust and spider webs need to be taken care of. Structurally the cabin needs some work. It is settling into the mountain side big time. When we walked in our suitcase rolled away from the door and across most of the cabin. I could feel it. Made it a little hard to sleep. The hot tub shows it as well. Rotted wood and the water level was higher on one end than the other. The ceiling fans make noise when used, like a clicking noise. The a/c unit puts out an annoying whine while running. The cabin has a musty smell. Needs a dehumidifier big time.

Perfect place to stay for yourself or a small family of 4.

Unplug and unwind

We truly enjoyed our stay at Micks Hideaway. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and were glad we brought a cooler full of food to really get the most out of a couple of days disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life. The DVD player and selection was a nice touch, and it’s beautifully obvious this cabin was built with pride and love and enjoyed by their owners and Mick, and we are so glad they chose to share their little slice of heaven with the rest of us. Thanks!!!

Great Cabin!

Great cabin in a perfect location. It was very peaceful and away from the crowds and traffic. Cabin was very clean. Beautiful view from the back deck and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little getaway!

We loved everything about this little cabin! It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Very clean, great location. About 30 minutes to Pigeon Forge but that was just fine with us. The scenery was beautiful. Will stay here again!

Cozy cabin

Perfect little cabin for a weekend trip. Not too far from everything and it has everything youd need. Well kept and very cozy. Definitely recommend to anyone.
