This cabin was amazing. It has everything you could possibly want in a real mountain cabin. The view was stunning. It's perfectly situated between Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Pigeon Forge. We are already looking to book this place again. It's perfect. The kids liked this place so much they actually wanted to leave Dollywood and go back to the cabin early.

Our stay here was great! The location is literally IN the mountains! Our main goal for this trip was to stay in a cabin that was secluded and not near other cabins and had views but also a good location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. And all of that was accomplished. The cabin was very clean. The movie theater, pool table & hot tub were big hits for our family. The drive to the cabin was very windy(ya know, since we were in the mountains). A couple minor complaints would be there really isnt one space for our whole group to hang out. The living room area was small and the furniture was not comfy. We would be split between the dining table, living room, and patio table on the deck and there is no yard at all. Also, the wash machine does not really clean clothes. Its a nice benefit but it didnt work very well. A sign with the house number would have been helpful at the bottom of the driveway. We had a little difficulty finding the cabin but that could have been user error on our part. One interesting event that we had there was a bear decided to visit us! It came down and messed with the garbage trying to get at it. You can tell the bear was a frequent customer as you could see other garbage up the mountain a little bit. He also decided to come back overnight and tried getting in our vehicles. He was successful on one of the pickups, thankfully no damage but he left a bunch of muddy pawprints! We would definitely stay in this cabin again!
The bear opened up the back door and helped himself inside. Thankfully no damage!

In Need of a Deep Clean

The property is in a good location. However, finding it was an issue because it lacks any signage at the end of the driveway that displays the address. The driveway is relatively steep and dark. Everything along the driveway is overgrown which does not change as you reach the house. The weeds/grass have not been cut. We couldn’t use the outdoor grill for fear of ticks or other biting insects. The decks were large but damp and dirty as was the furniture that was there. The gutters were not cleaned and had plants growing out of them. The front steps had loose nails and are in need of maintenance.Inside the house was better but still not as nice as we had expected. We inadvertently turned on the garbage disposal thinking it was a light switch and thought the thing was going to fly out the window. Upon inspection I found a knob to one of the kitchen drawers in it, which I removed, so this obviously does not get checked at cleaning. We found dead insects all over the house that were missed during cleaning and my daughters used blankets they brought from home when they slept because they said the bed linens in their rooms were not clean. On the positive side, We rented through VRBO and quickly found that the stove would not work. I sent an email to the host and quickly received a response and someone was out the next day to repair it. The rooms are a good size and the younger kids loved the game room and the theater. The 2 decks are a nice size and there is a good view.

Secluded cabin with great views

This cabin was excellent for our family of 11 of ages 16. The views were beautiful and in a secluded area. Wonderful drive and close to Pigeon forge. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Perfect cabin for a larger group and the owners were very responsive of everything asked. We were able to see a small bear on our porch area. It was so great to see. We would definitely be back to this cabin in the future.

Great Time!

Our multi-general generation had a great time. Plenty of space for folks to spread out and activities in the house galore. An easy 15-20 drive to attractions and groceries made it easy to stay busy fed. Only thing I would change is the communal space. There’s not a single area for meals or just sitting around. But if you’re sitting around in the house in this area, you’re doing it wrong!!! :-)

Peaceful stay

The cabin was clean and just as pictured. It had all the cookware and utensils we needed to prepare our meals. Short drive to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Hot tub was clean. Plenty of towels and washcloths were provided. Beds were comfortable. Our children enjoyed the game-room area and theater. We didn’t use the sauna but I dod peak inside and it was very clean as well. We would stay here again and would recommend this cabin. The host was very nice and checked in to make sure we didn’t have any problems checking in. We didn’t have to contact her any during the stay but we did communicate several times during the booking process which was very simple. There was also a beautiful view of the mountains.

Smokey Mountains

Our family has vacationed and rented a cabin at the Smokey Mountains 6 times. The cabin and location has by far been our favorite. The view from the porch is gorgeous. The cabin is very secluded and we saw mother black bear & 2 cubs twice near cabin porch & drive way. The cabin was very clean with ample sleeping , large kitchen, game room, hot tub, 2 large porchs, theater, 4 bathrooms. We absolutely loved the cabin. The cabin's porch railing was completely redone and looked great. The cabin has a pack and play and high chair for use. The hostess response was very prompt. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to book the cabin in a few years again for our family. fair

Getaway Rental

Great location close to everything

This property is in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. We were close to Dollywood and the Ripken Experience. We had 3 families with 6 adults and 7 kids. The space was comfortable for everyone and the theatre room was great for the kids.

Great Family Getaway- Five Stars

Had a great family vacation! Had 9 adults and 3 kids and it was great. Plenty of space and wonderful accommodations. We had everything we needed plus more! The owners Michelle and Taylan were great every step of the way. The view was fantastic every morning and so peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this one for a family stay!

Fantastic cabin in a great location

This cabin is a short drive to all the major attractions without all the chaos of staying on “the strip”. It’s located on a secluded lot with great views of of mountains all around. Coffee in the hot tub at sunrise was the highlight of the morning. This cabin had plenty of bedrooms for all the families to spread out, as well as lots of amenities for everyone. The main level and lower level both have huge decks, with a great view of the sunrise and a view of the sunset. There is something for everyone; with the theater room, sauna, game room and hot tub. We have lots of great memories and would love to stay here again.

Comfy and clean!

Pros: One of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed! Bedrooms and bathrooms were ample size. It was good to have a half bath on main floor. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was manageable with plenty dinnerware, etc. Technology good and there was lots to do downstairs. Hot tub was clean and great with a pretty view off two large decks. There was easier road access than anticipated. Also, the owners fulfilled a personal request by making sure there was a small Christmas tree provided even though they typically don’t decorate at Christmas time. This was very thoughtful😊. Cons: Living room and dining were much smaller than expected so there was no place for all of 10 us to sit together. Furniture in living room was not comfortable nor cozy——a small sectional would be better. There was one small couch and two what seemed to be outdoor chairs for seating. The theater room was nice to have, but there were only six seats so again, not enough space for everyone at one time. Although there is an ensuite downstairs and one on the main floor, it would be nice to have one more full bath upstairs since six people had to share the one bath that’s there. All in all, though, we had a great time and thank the owners for their communication and quick return of our deposit! With a smaller crowd, we would stay again!

Great house

Our stay here was overall a fun trip. Only complaints are majority of the tv remote battery's were dead, could not get the movie theater to work due to a "connection issue" and the parking situation was a bit taskful. It fits at most 4 vehicles spaciously but once you're up there, there is no way to turn around unless you do a 4 point turn. But, overall it was an enjoyable house with a great view and plenty of amenities, -besides the theater. Would definitely recommend to others

Beautiful fall views!

We loved our time here! Close to Dollywood and we had everything we needed. Host were very responsive and made all very easy! The vies were perfect and the full harvest moon was over the top! Highly reccomend!

Peaceful and Fun for our Family

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for our party of 12 to stay comfortably. We range in ages from 4 to 72. The theater room was a big hit and we had everything we needed for our stay. The communication with the owners was easy and responsive. Would definitely stay with them again.

Great place for a family

Serenity cabin was perfect. Our group had 6 adults and 2 teens and there was plenty of room with some to spare. With the theater downstairs as well as the pool table, air hockey and foosball tables no one was bored even for a minute. The cabin is in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. Before booking I looked through tons of properties trying to find one where there wasn't another cabin right next door and as soon as we pulled up the drive I knew I had picked the perfect one. Gatlinburg, Piegon Forge, Dollywood, shopping, restaurants, even the grocery store was just a quick and scenic drive away. I am ready to plan my next visit! Thank you Michelle and Taylor.

Serenity fits PERFECT!

We were a group of 14 and mixed ages from 7 to 82! The home is GORGEOUS! the location...OH MY! PRETTIEST SUNRISES! Plenty to do in the home if rain changes your plans! Kids loved the movie theater! And the hot tub! Hostess we're remarkable with fast replies! Absolutely recommend here for SERENITY!
