The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was absolutely perfect for winding down after a day at the pigeon forge island. The bedroom and upper loft were very spacious, and the hosts were very attentive!

This cabin was a very nice place to stay while visiting Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It is close enough to both places to be convenient, but far enough outside of town to be secluded.The great: Location, spectacular view, hot tub clean and ready for use, gas fireplace really warms the cabin.The good: Master bedroom/bed comfortable, nice bathroom, everything clean. The loft bedroom was a nice area but does not close off with a door. The pictures look like the bunk bed is a full on the bottom and twin on top; they are really just two twin bunk beds. Oddly placed tub in the loft, owner noted it was inoperable. No big deal. Kitchen was clean but dishwasher is old and seemed to have trouble getting dishes clean (we always pre-rinse too). Plenty of dishes and glasses for use.The so-so: the parking pad is very small. 2 cars can barely fit while keeping off the very narrow lane. The approach road is steep and windy, but short. The master bedroom double doors are odd and don't really provide privacy.Overall: This is definitely a vacation cabin. You can see that it was purposely built in a rustic, rough-hewn fashion. However it is clean, comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable. The Christmas tree was a beautiful touch which we enjoyed. We stayed with 5 people, I don't think I'd try to stay with more than that as this is not a large space, but we had a great time and David's (Owner) communication was timely, helpful, and immediately responsive to questions. Thanks!

Nicely appointed, cozy cabin. View from the back porch/deck is so beautiful. Communication with David was easy with quick response times. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to everything.

Awesome Cabin

We had a fantastic stay! It was myself, my husband, and our 3-year-old—and this cabin was perfect for us. The views were absolutely stunning, especially from the side of the deck with the hot tub. The loft area was ideal for our little one, giving him his own fun space.As with many mountain cabins, the driveway is steep, and it was a bit of a tight squeeze parking our truck, so just something to keep in mind. We really appreciated the cleanliness and how well-stocked the cabin was—it had everything we needed. Plus, the free tickets through Xplorie were a great bonus and helped us enjoy even more of our vacation.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Beautiful Clean Cabin

We have stayed in quite a few cabins in this area, some good, some bad. This is one of our top favorites. The cabin was very clean! It was perfect for my husband a teen daughter. Beautiful views. The owners took extra care in adding special touches to make our stay nice, including a nice coffee station, well stocked. We made a meal in the cabin, and im a trained chef, they had everything i needed to make a full meal. My daughter loved having the second floor loft to herself, in her words "Its so cozy!" I would highly recommend this cabin and i wish we couldve stayed longer. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Great stay for a small family!

We were doing a last minute trip with our adult children before she gets married. The house was great and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely return to this house and recommend it to others. We had a wonderful time visiting the Gatlinburg area, but also loved staying in this house in the mountains away from the crowds.

Maintenance

Overall, a great 'getaway' location/facility. My previous stay at same un it identified some issues (e.g TV) which was still not attended to on my second visit - had to call and request a service, which was done following day. Did try to vacuum area before I left, but the vacuum cleaner was totally blocked - looks like the cannister had never been cleaned; therefore no suction! Who does the cleaning?????

Possible improvements

Love the place - am currently trying to see if I can rebook for next week. Small items to consider are: (a) I found most utensils and stove to be 'greasy' and (b) the living room TV had three (3) remotes- tried as I could there was no way I could find the right combinations of buttons to push to activate any tv. On the other hand, the TV in the bedroom worked just fine with the one remote. Suggestion - label the remotes with same sticker as on the wall switches and tie those into a clear explanation of activation on the information sheet you sent prior to arrival, and (c) I did notice several pieces of garbage around the perimeter of the cabin, as well as some rusting metal (roofing?) pieces - that does not reflect well on the quality of the cabin overall, and finally (d) I have only lived for the 7+ decades on homes with well (or lake) water and septic systems, so I know a bit about them. When you turn the water on on the main floor tub /shower unit, I rec'd a whack of rusty sandy water - whether someone plumbed with iron piping somewhere (didn't seem to have that problem with the sink or water closet) I know that is just no good - it clogs up taps and increases wear and tear. Overall - I loved the place and as stated I am emailing to see if I can get it again next week. Than ks
