Great stay! Only complaint was that it was extremely cold in the downstairs bedroom even when using the provided heater fan and the place could’ve used a good dusting. Definitely would stay there again.

Attentive host that responds promptly! Cozy atmosphere with fireplace and Christmas Tree! The cabin appears older and with more wear and tear than in pictures but that didn’t affect our stay. The floors could have been cleaner but I can overlook that as well. We had great space for extended family. The hot tub got warm fast. Location was convenient. We would stay again!

The place needs a serious deep cleaning. There is dirt/dust everywhere you look. Possibly a mop that is not filled with the smell of mildew . The floors were filthy and the pans and pots were also, although the glassware clean . The space was adequate for our needs.

The inside of the cabin was fine. I thought we would have a view, no, no view The only thing one could see was trees five feet away blocking any view possible. The outside porch was in desperate need of a power wash. The pictures were deceptive for the view. We had trouble operating the temperatures on the jacuzzi.

Upon arrival we noticed that the AC was not working properly. We noticed animal poop in the upstairs jacuzzi tub. After looking around we discovered poop all over the main floor and couches. Some of it had been smushed in as though something stepped or laid on it. It looked like the cabin had been unoccupied for a while so housekeeping came in and only cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. The bedding was dusty and there was a layer of dust on the remotes, end tables, headboards, etc. While we were waiting to hear back from the cabin rental we heard something scrurrying around up the stairs a few times and found droplets of blood that hadn’t completely dried. After 2 hours of being hot and fussing at my two young children not to walk around barefoot or sit on the couches, we were told that someone was on the way to clean and pest control wouldn’t be there until the next day. We decided we did not feel comfortable staying there. As we were loading up our car one lady showed up at 7pm to clean. I had to reach out Sunday and Monday to request a refund. Management never bothered to follow up with me. When I requested a refund I was told that the problem had been resolved because pest control laid out traps even though they had NOT caught the animal. I had to reach out to my credit card company to get my money back. I’m very disappointed in our experience with this cabin rental. We had a significantly better stay with Heartland Cabins. I have more photos but can only upload 8.

Great stay!

The location is great to all the things Pigeon Forge! The drive is easy and the cabin is exactly as described. Our teen loved the pool table in the basement and all the kids loved the video games. Super easy to communicate with the owner. Would love to stay here again!

Great Cabin, Great Location, Fun Weekend!

Our family stayed at Bear Haven for a long weekend trip to Dollywood. We loved the cabin and had a great time. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to do and was an easy drive to and from town. We had 6 adults and 2 children (4 & 6) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs activity room was a huge hit with the pool table and the arcade game! The hot tub was a favorite as well. We really enjoyed out stay.

Family Vacation 2024

My husband and I rent a condo/house/cabin each year for our big family vacation and this year we decided on Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This cabin was wonderful for our family of 11! 3 levels allowed each family unit to spread out a little and the pool table and arcade game system allowed kids to have a wonderful time while at the cabin! Management communication was excellent. Excellent kitchen stocked with everything I needed to cook a few meals while there too! And I loved how many towels and linens we had so I didn’t have to do laundry too often. Its location is definitely a plus as it’s in the mountains but a quick 10 minute drive to everything in Pigeon Forge. We attended the Pirate Dinner Theater Show and drove over to the Biltmore one day. Other days we drove up to New Found Gap and Cades Cove. Kids loved the Dig Zone in Seveirville where toddlers can operate real equipment like excavators and skid steers! It rained the day we were going to do Splash Country but we were really close to those parks as well. Several in our group said this was the best vacation yet with our group!

Great cabin and location

Everything was great. Would suggest lighting in the driveway, hard to see out there at dark and the basement stairs are slick, really needs some no slip pad things on them, had a few mishaps going down. 😂 overall highly recommend this cabin. Great location, close to everything.

Lovely location, really. close to Pidgeon Forge and Dollywood. Great to have 3 full bathrooms. Kitchen well-supplied, used the gas fireplace and the firepit outside was convenient. The downstairs sleeping was super chilly, the middle floor was perfect, but the top floor was extremely warm. They had plenty of blankets and had some heaters. If you stay here, bring your own kitchen scrubbers and hotpads. Some pans need to be replaced and there should be better lighting in dining area. Actually there was no lighting there.

A great way to vacation in the Smokies

This was our first time staying in a cabin instead of hotel rooms/suites and it was so much nicer for our family. Especially to be able to make enjoy our own food and have so much space for games and movies. The things I will remember next time that I didn't think of: salt and pepper, a kitchen sponge and dish soap, and coffee filters. There were plenty of towels, t.p. and paper towels though i did bring extra of those.
