The host was great—she responded quickly and thoughtfully to any concerns we had. Everyone enjoyed the game room. The location being safely tucked at the end of a neighborhood road and halfway from both Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge was the favorite part for our family. Definitely going to do this again in the future.

Everything was pretty much as advertised. The location was peaceful and close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, making taking in all of the attractions convienient.

You are in the middle of nowhere but the cabin is clean and amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The turkeys passing by one morning was a bonus definitely booking next year. Thank you fire fly lagoon

Seclusion

One word… SECLUSION!!! Not only did this home have all that we were looking for pool, hot tub, game room, fire pit, but it also has amazing seclusion and still so close to everything! The home was super clean and Melissa was amazingly responsive and happy to help! If you are looking at this home… just book it!

Review of Firefly Lagoon

Overall we had a good stay. The interior was clean and was as advertised. We noticed none of the bathrooms had any soap though, so we had to use dish soap. The pool area did not appear to have been cleaned recently. We had to sweep up the concrete, remove bird droppings off the hot tub cover, tidy up the furniture, put away pool toys, and remove leaves from the pool, before we felt comfortable using the pool area. Overall I’d say it was a fun stay once we got the place in order!

Perfect Location

The house was great. We have visited the area several times over the years and this house had the best location. Very clean and well taken care of! The game room was our favorite part. The only thing I would comment on would be the temperature upstairs. We did find it to be a little too warm at night in the bedrooms upstairs even with the fan on. The house could probably use an AC unit upstairs especially during summer, but I wouldn’t say the temperature would keep me from booking again. I would stay again!

Needed some attention

I will start by saying the property has a lot of potential and could be a fluke, but we had a few issues that could’ve been avoided with some detailed management. Big thing being the “seasonally” unavailable pool, had so much algae the back yard stink and the hot tub may have been “cleaned” but it had a smell too. Easy fix with a

Firefly lagoon failed stay

For starters, there is a camera facing the pool and hot tub area. I don't know who's watching the camera and my family and grandkids were there. The pool wasn't clean when we arrived. There was a frog swimming in the pool all night the first night. I had to get it out the next day. There is a birds nest under the canopy where the hot tub sits. As we're trying to clean the pool out on Wednesday, the pool guy shows up. According to the property manager, he's supposed to come on Tuesday and Fridays. The home is very drafty takes forever to heat up if it's cool out. Overall didn't have a pleasant experience, wouldn't recommend to anyone else. On top of all of that,the neighbors are extremely nosy. Wasn't a very comfortable vacation, wish we could start over and book somewhere else. Oh yeah, and the Beds are very very uncomfortable. It feels like andlooks like you're sleeping on a sofa bed, with mattress top..

Awesome Time!!

The house is perfectly stocked and appointed with things to do for everyone! No one was bored or looking for things to do despite being the wrong time of year for the pool to open, and that’s saying a lot considering we had 4 kids aged from 8-11. Everything was perfect, and the house is close enough to the attractions that it’s not a hassle but far enough to not have the traffic.

Welcoming!

Great home to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Perfectly located to quickly get to all of the excitement in either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Also close to the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Our hosts immediately contacted us upon booking and shared a useful and well thought out guide to the area. The house had plenty of amenities, felt cozy, and welcoming. We couldn't bring ourselves to walk through the rain and flurries to use the hottub but when first looking at the tub, it was very clean.Our 4year old thought the arcade room was amazing! Had tons of options to keep you busy especially when youre traveling in cold climate. Easy to find things to occupy your time. We had a great stay!We would definitely stay here again!

Great!

This cabin has lots of amenities for everyone in our group. We had kids aged 4-14 and no one got bored. The game room was a big hit (pictures don’t do it justice!). This cabin has lots of little extras and everything was well thought out. The beds were cozy and the house was clean. I would absolutely stay here again. Ps. It was too cold for us to utilize the pool, but during the warmer months, the patio area would be amazing.

Great place and location

We had a great time at this cabin, the hosts were very prompt with responding when contacted. Lots to do in cabin for days when you want to stay in. It is a great location right between gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Highly recommend this cabin.

Amazing location

I don’t typically leave reviews but this place was a gem and the owners were awesome to work with. The description doesn’t do it justice. It’s nestled up in the hills along a road that has a little crystal clear creek running along it. The walk up and down the road alone is beautiful as a hike. The house was wonderful. Very clean and modern (yet with a rustic vibe - but not old rustic, everything felt new). The game room was something I didn’t even know if we’d use and yet it drew our family together daily (ages 13&19) plus parents. The pool was perfect after hot mornings hiking. Others have mentioned leaves, which you have to expect if you are hanging on the side of a mountain. But there is a broom for sweeping and the pool maintenance people left it extremely clean. And the trade off of falling leaves is worth it if you can lay in the pool and see the beauty of the hills around you. The location to all the fun can’t be beat, close to restaurants the park and activities, but a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Melissa was awesome, extremely responsive to any questions. House was nicely equipped for cooking. Beds were really comfortable- slept great. Highly recommend and would stay again. Side note if you are looking for good food. Iron Forge, Big Daddy’s Pizza ,and surprisingly Ole Reds.

Weekend at Pigeon Forge

Nice place for a smaller family getaway. Our two children really loved the hot tub, pool, mini golf and game room. For the adults, it’s pretty quiet and secluded. Great place to disconnect. The pool is nice to have, but it’s also in a tough location in the woods so it gets limited sunlight and can get a lot of debris from the woods. The house also has a few things in it that seem very clearly DIY, but nothing that takes away from the home overall. Given the chance, I would stay there again.

Amazing Vacation Spot

We enjoyed every second at the Firefly Lagoon! It rained for two of the 3 days we were there. It was the perfect place to be rained out as there was so much to do at the cabin. The owners were had all the instructions lined out and it made it easy at arrival and check out. I would stay again and would recommend this spot to others as well.

Great location & amenities, owners are top notch!

We stayed with our children (ages 11-15) and the property was just as described. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - short drives anywhere you went. Our children enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and the game room was a big hit! I can't say enough about Melissa - she was wonderful to work with, was so attentive, and communicated quickly when anything came up! Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Great stay!

Exactly as listed! Very clean. Is close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet has the secluded feeling we were wanting. We had no issues and the host was easy to reach and quick to respond! Definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful cabin in great location

Beautiful cabin with lots to do. We had a few issues upon arrival. Host communicated well and had everything taken care of quickly. It is stocked well. The kids ages 1, 11 and 15 all had fun in the game room. Actually we all did. The cabin is located just a few minutes from everything. The pool was still a little cold but the kids didnt seem to mind. Would definitely book again.
