Rooms were clean and the main living room for everyone to hang out together. Also plenty of areas for the kids to play. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was nice as well. The kitchen was amazing with so much space it was easy to cook for our very large group.

This place was perfect for our large crowd! Very spacious, big beds, large congregation area, and location was great- close enough to gatlinburg and pigeon forge to be there quickly but far enough away to get the quiet countryside with nice views. Host was very quick to respond and cordial. Any issue we ran into they were fast to respond and get it taken care of promptly. I definitely recommend this place!

Great home for our group of 25 (12 kids!). The views are so peaceful and kids loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! So convenient to everything. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect! Clean, very well stocked. Very comfortable for 24 women. When we had a question they responded immediately. I would highly recommend this room. In fact we are hoping to stay there again next year.

Large family gathering of all ages. We all enjoyed it so much. Theater was a hit and needless to say the pool. We enjoyed the ability to accommodation for dinner to allow family dinners together.

Stay was great. Had 26 of us, ages 2 months to 73 years. Had plenty of room for all. Stocked well, to make large meals. All able to eat meals together at large tables in dining area. Huge plus that every bedroom has an en-suite. Lots to do at the house as well as area attractions. Hosts very responsive and answered all questions and concerns quickly and honestly.

Family Summer Vacation

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at the Chestnut Oak Lodge. The house was perfect for our large group of 29. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kids really enjoyed playing pool and watching movies in the theater room. It was so nice to sit outside and see the beautiful view from the patio. The host was amazing! They got back to us right away with any questions we had. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Family Reunion

We rented Chestnut Oak Lodge for a family reunion. We had 24 guests, and the space was amazing. The main floor had plenty of room for our large group to congregate and hang out together. The kids took over thelower level with the game room, pool, and theatre room. The two bunk rooms were perfect for the girl and boy cousins to have their own sleeping spaces. The lodge was close to the national park for hiking and other side excursions. We loved that each bedroom had a en-suite. The hosts were extremely responsive with a couple of requests that we had. Definitely our favorite space so far for our annual summer family reunions.

Great stay!

Our group of 18 had a great time. The house was clean and as advertised. There are plenty of beds, bathrooms, silverware, and plates/bowls/glasses. Having two fridges, ovens, sinks, dishwashers, etc. was fantastic. The kids loved the swimming pool and arcade games. Most of the places we visited were 15-35 minutes away in Sevierville and Gatlinburg. Communication with the host was great - fast and efficient responses! The check-in and check-out process were easy with the keypad on the front door. I would stay here again if in Sevierville again.

Exceeded everyone’s expectations!

We had 35 family members, ages 6 months to 85 years of age, celebrating an 80th birthday. The layout was perfect. Plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed having their own bathroom. Having 2 bedrooms on the Main Floor for those who couldn’t manage the stairs made it easy for meals, visiting with family and enjoying the patio/deck views and sunsets. Management was available to answer our questions. They even assisted one of our family members that left clothes hanging in the closet upon checkout.

Perfect for Staff Retreat

We stayed at OakRidge for our staff retreat. The house was fantastic for our group - plenty of bedrooms, large gathering spaces, easy to get to, and easy to get to restaurants and other activities.

Post Christmas and 50th Wedding Anniversary Family Gathering

Large cabin with super space, space and more space for a family of 12 ranging from 1 year of age to 72 years of age. Cabin was very tastefully decorated for the Christmas Season. An electric fireplace was such a nice surprise to add a bit of warmth and coziness to a rainy winter evening. The theatre room was a treat for watching an old Christmas movie together. The pool was thrilling especially for the 6 and 8 year old grands. The owner/manager responded so quickly to our questions. Location so convenient to attractions which was another plus when you have little ones traveling. Thank you for being a responsive host and allowing us to stay in your lovely cabin. Hope to see u in the future.

The property was beautiful. It was extremely spacious and just beautiful. The open concept allowed all of (20) to sit and enjoy each other in clear sight. The property manager communication was A1!! The response time was exceptional. I’m looking forward to next years stay.

Enjoyed Our Stay

This cabin was exactly as seen in the photos. Management was responsive to all request made. We needed additional towels and they provided. We wanted the waterfall on in the pool and they addressed it. Having access to an indoor pool and theater room made the stay even better. Providing plenty to do when no one felt like venturing out. The views on the back patio were magnificent, especially the sunsets.

Great place and location, superb communication

We had a wonderful family get-together at Chestnut Oak Lodge. The location couldn't be better -- not far from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smokey Mountain National Park. The lodge was very clean from top to bottom, and the kitchen well equipped with more than you would ever need. The layout was also conducive to those who wanted to spend a little quiet time. Communication with the host was outstanding. There was a brief power outage caused by terrible weather, and the host responded to an after-hours notification literally within minutes! Very pleased and would book again.
