We had a wonderful stay at C&R! Sandra was a great host and the check in process was seamless. My son loved fishing in the pond and looking for wildlife in the beautifully landscaped backyard. The hot tub was the icing on the cake as well as listening to the creek flowing through the yard. The only thing we didn’t love about our stay was the large carpenter ants in the kitchen and a 4” centipede in the living room BUT this property is in the forest so at the end of the day I don’t think it’s too out of the ordinary to come across some bugs here and there…we were just mindful of what we set on the counter. All in all, we had a great time and wouldn’t think twice about booking C&R in the future.

The house had plenty of room for our group. A little hard to navigate at night. Be sure to print directions before you leave. No phone service within the community. Wifi sigbal was good. Hiuse was clean and well stocked.

We had such a great time! Host Sandra made sure we had everything we needed to get in and the email communication on directions, property and all was great. Played pool, enjoyed hot tub, grilled burgers and steaks and really had great downtime with my kids 21, 16, and 10. Just what we needed! Put away the electronics and talked, played board games, fished in the pond out front, went horseback riding, and the mountain coasters nearby. Thanks Sandra and team for making it a great holiday weekend. Kids loved it too. Only negative? That we didn’t get to see a bear!

Fantastic property. If you want to be close enough to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, etc (20 - 50 min.), but far enough away to enjoy some piece and quiet, this place is for you. Family enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

This was our second week renting this amazing cabin! We had a great time! We saw a bear and a deer in the backyard and the owl came to visit on the porch again- just like the year before! The location is close to everything, but far enough away that you experience nature. The house has everything you need!

House fit our family well, Daughter enjoyed fishing, and Some of them did see a bear. Kitchen was very well provisioned. Both my wife and I found books on the bookshelf we read and enjoyed. One thine we would change was the couches where uncomfortable.

Vacation ruined

We literally got our keys code to our property around 4:30 the night before check out we arrive on Thursday and check out Saturday and we got our key code Friday evening was supposed to be my daughters 18th birthday was spent with countless hours of unanswered phone calls and emails I understand the property owner had a medical emergency, but the cabin was rented and paid for I do believe there should be a plan in place if somebody misses Work is sick. I can’t believe that the company like this one person can completely shut it down. We have used this site and my family for many trips but never again Also the house advertises a catch and release house there is no fishing. It’s literally a small mud hole.

Nana Time

My grandchildren and I enjoyed our visit to your cabin. They liked playing pool, checkers and cards. Saw an owl every morning perched on the balcony. Dollywood was fun and the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center was fun and educational.

Peaceful retreat

The home is beautifully kept, comfortable and quiet. Roads going up are a little steep and narrow is areas, but not terrible. Overall a great week of relaxing with family!

Relaxing getaway

Very clean! Bedding was super comfortable! Kids had fun catching the goldfish. They also got good at playing pool and checkers during our stay. The hot tub was a great way to end every night!

Birthday get away

We had a REALLY great time!! We enjoyed playing games, the hot tub and walk in the woods. It was very enchanting!! The place was very big and would be wonderful for a big group. It was very nice and clean. The gold fish were very pretty. However, it is definitely nothing that we would fish for to "catch and release" as we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching them. (That is why I put 3 stars for the "Accuracy of online listing". EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing!!!Thank you for letting us stay there!

Good house

We enjoyed overall our stay. We had hopedFor a variety of fish in pond however it was only goldfish but this was fine for our kids. The way our GPS took us getting to the house was through the opposite side of the written directions and we lost all service and internet etc and it was a VERY narrow and winding road so I’m glad we traveled in the daylight. While the house is plenty big enough for more than 2 families we weren’t given an exception to allow our additional family to stay, which is fine. However when we gave names etc for the gate the names were incorrect but luckily the gate didn’t make a big deal of it since the vehicle was correct. Overall it’s a great little quiet location - there are no views as you have mountain going up all sides but this didn’t bother us. Great location to everything we wanted to do.
