A Step Above is a gorgeous cabin. It is nicely decorated. Every room was clean. The Mountain View is breathtaking. We were able to relax on the deck and look over the mountains. Michelle is a great person to work with. If I had to say one word about A Step Above it would be AmAzing.

View is spectacular, cabin was clean, and the kitchen was supplied well with all the pots and pans needed to cook. The KitchenAid appliances we very nice, took a sec to figure out the ovens but once we did, we discovered we were making it harder than it really was. Furniture was very nice. You can see this owner wants their guest to be comfortable. We didn't use the hot tube, but it looked to be very clean and didn't smell like a bottle of chemicals like most public hot tubs do. The fire pit area was awesome. Watching the fire at night and looking out on the valley was so relaxing. THE BEARS......every evening staring around 5:30 the bears made their rounds. What a sight to see. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, then stay here! Although the road leading up to the cabin was a little scary at first, it was exciting every trip after that.

If there was nothing but the porch and the unbelievable View it would be enough because that’s where 75% of your time will be spent.The House and property is exactly as pictures show but the views even better than pictures show.This Cabin,The Bears.The Mountains and The Valley’s View,Location and The Awesome Host who cares and make sure you enjoy your stay -We will be renting Here as Long as you are Host - Michelle -Thank you for this Cabin and The Great Family Memories made Here -Sept 2025

This cabin was beautiful! Enough room for my parents, my brother, niece, my daughter and I. The extra fans were appreciated and view was magnificent! This was our first whole family trip in over 15 years and it was well overdo. The instructions given to get to the cabin by the owner before we arrived, made finding the place easy, though the trip up the mountain can be a little scary!

Beautiful Retreat

We were there for five nights and I wish we had longer just to spend time in the cabin. The views are amazing and peaceful. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub. There’s definitely not a lack of things to do in the cabin if you want to have a quiet retreat staying home. We left every day to go sightseeing and hiking but wish we could’ve spent more time at the cabin.The cabin was spotless and well stocked with everything that a guest would need. We’ve stayed in VRBOs all over the country and this has been one of my favorites.

Stay here!

This is a very nice, clean place. It is private and the view is great. Fire pit is large providing enough room for everyone to sit around and drink our morning coffee. Host is very responsive and took care of our every need. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful views and very clean!

This cabin is truly A Step Above. The views were even better in person and we loved the beautiful sunsets. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the cozy feel. We had fun in the hot tub and playing pool. The host was very attentive and quick to respond. This is by far the best cabin we have stayed at. Looking forward to coming back again. We would definitely recommend coming here.

Beautiful Property and wonderful host

We stayed here for a little quiet getaway and the house is beautiful, well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cabin is in a great location and the views are beautiful. Michele was the sweetest with checking in and making sure we were safe when we got some snow and gave us advice on not going down the mountain when it’s snowed. Will definitely be back she was a fantastic host.

Family Christmas Vacation

Cabin was amazing!! Just as the pictures portrayed it. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils, pots & pans, electronics needed and all upgraded! We had the best time and the owners thought of every detail needed to make our stay the best experience possible!!! The View was amazing.
