My kids loved the pool! Hot tub took a little while to warm up but once it was. It was very enjoyable to sit in and watch the kiddos play in the pool.

The weather wasn’t quite what we were hoping, lucky for us, we had an awesome place to stay! We were so comfortable and cozy in this cabin. Our kids loved it! This was our first time bringing our dog along-they had everything we needed to make her feel comfortable as well. I would definitely book with them again-communication was top notch!!!

Howlin at the Moon is an excellent Cabin that is exactly what it is represented to be! This Cabin is up to date and very clean. It's location is extremely private and secluded, but you can easily drive to Pigeon Forge in less than 10 minutes. Can't say enough good things about our communications with Mike & Jamie, as our short stay was scheduled extremely "last minute" and their responses to our questions were always immediate, thoughtful and very helpful! We have rented several VRBO Properties over the years and would definitely recommend Howlin at the Moon for an overall satisfying experience

This property is wonderful and is exactly as advertised. It was the perfect location close to the parkway with an easy drive to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the electric fireplace, pool table and indoor pool/spa. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the spa takes a while to heat up and doesn’t have a lot of jets, just as a FYI. The driveway is also pretty steep. We had an AWD and had no issues getting up the driveway in dry conditions. There is limited parking around the 2 cabins, as the listing mentions. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with essentials. I appreciated the attention to detail such as having some snacks available and the Christmas lights and fireplace turned on before we arrived. I also appreciated having a guidebook for the property and easily being able to contact the hosts. I would definitely recommend this property, and I will definitely consider coming back in the future.

If the hot tub is important to you, do not stay here. What is described as a hot tub in the listing is more of a jetted pool. The hot tub never got hot (even after they had a pool service in to fix it) and the jets have almost no power. Our kids loved the pool. But if you would like to watch your kids in the pool without getting in, note that there is no room for seating in the pool room. We had to drag a chair over to the hallway outside of the door and watch our kids from there.I would also note that this cabin is pretty small if you have a large group. The living room only has 1 couch and a small coffee table. The basement offers 1 couch and 1 chair. It feels like a cabin that is better for 4-6 people.Otherwise, it was great! The host was very responsive and quickly fixed several issues.

Adorable cabin. Loved the Christmas lights on the front porch and the Christmas tree in the living room. The pool was a hit with the kids, although the hot tub never got above a lukewarm temperature. Nonetheless, the kids enjoyed it and didn't complain. This was the best stocked cabin we've ever stayed in so huge bonus points for that. Plenty of portable fans, laundry/dish pods, towels, extra linen, and even snacks. We would definitely stay agin.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was perfect for our whole family—spacious, comfortable, and well laid out so everyone had plenty of room. The location was incredibly convenient and close to everything we needed.The steep driveway even added some fun and entertainment to our stay—it’s definitely steep, but totally manageable!The host was more than accommodating and responded quickly to every question we had.We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would definitely stay again!

The property was great and the communication was fantastic. We were in town for a destination wedding and it was located in a perfect spot to do everything we wanted while we were in the area! The cabin was a little smaller than the images show, but still worked perfectly for us. They’re only a couple of things that I would recommend. One is the cookware. While I am a fan of cast-iron cookware, it should also be complimented with some other options. The hot tub also did not heat up very fast and took a considerable amount of time due to the timer setting. Because we were in and out so much, we never actually got the opportunity for the hot tub to heat up. Overall, the place is great though and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking into staying there.

The pool needed more water. I spent an hour filling it with water. I did because the pool pump was very loud every night. I finally figured out there was no water going into the pump, it was spitting out air into the pool & the pump run loudly. The pump is under the master bedroom. I could hear it run at night. I thought about messaging the host but it was to late. I wanted to sleep before we left the next day.The cabin needs a deep clean. the furnace filter needs to be changed, the door that pulls the return air is filthy. There is what I believe is a dead reptile underneath the baseboard in the basement level. Under all the couches has lots of pet hair and food. I look under and make sure my kids' toys were not under the furniture. The outlets in the master bath don't work. They are not gfci. Upstairs shower doent drain well.The coffee pot has the clean light on, too. I ran water through it a few times to freshen it before I used it. The washer and dryer closet is dirty.There was no chalk for the pool table. one of the sticks was missing the tip. One of the joysticks is broken on the game console, we couldn't play together. dehumidifiers were full apon arrival and smelled. I dump them out. There was slimy black mold insides of them. We did use them the first day and then turned them off because of mold & it pumped out heat. The carpet smelled like pee.

Fun and cozy

Had a wonderful getaway with my grand daughters! And like most of the reviews, they both loooooooved the pool. Used it everyday. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the back patio. Great location that’s close to restaurants and all the fun places the G kids enjoyed! Kitchen had everything I needed and even some extra conveniences that came in handy. Had a great stay and would definitely stay again!!

Family Trip

The cabin was clean, and had all the utensils and supplies you need for a week away. The communication with the host was quick and easy. I'm no expert at renting cabins, but i feel like we got a great deal for 5 nights. Plus, there is a small pool on the bottom level. Came with 2 young children who stayed in the pool as much as they could. The hot tub did not get very hot but it was still nice.
