We had a great stay. The host was very accessible. The cabin is very clean and up to date. It backs right up to the National Park, so bear activity is a given. We saw several and one passed right by the front porch. Very quaint, quiet neighborhood.When dining out, Elvira’s is a must along with Sloppy Hog’s. We will be back for another stay.

AMAZING This cabin was perfect could not have asked for a better place to stay. Peaceful clean comfortable. Our host was so friendly and helpful she was like talking to your best friend. We also had a few bear visitors

Wonderful stay at this cabin! Everything was just as described in the listing. Check-in was very smooth and hosts checked in on us and were great at communication! We had 2 bear visitors, which was so awesome!! We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin in the best location! We had the best time. Right by the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, in particular the Metcalf bottoms. The cabin had everything we needed. The master bedroom mattress was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. My morning coffee time on the porch swing made the trip. We even got to see a mama bear and her two cubs. My kids (and husband) now want an arcade table for home, haha. The hosts were fabulous and even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the woods

My son wanted a “cabin in the woods” and found this home on VRBO‘s website. It was everything we hoped for and more. I have stayed at many vacation rental homes, and I would describe our stay here as flawless. The descriptions on the website are accurate and if anything understated. We loved everything about our stay.

Great location and cabin

My husband and I enjoyed 4 days at this cabin. It’s in an excellent location for quick access to Townsend or Pigeon Forge. There are also lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hosts are also very informative and great with communication. This is a well managed cabin.

Cabin

The cabin was clean, but much smaller than the pictures portrayed online. There could have been more dishes, especially wine glasses, plates and utensils. Although we were told that the host provided coffee filters and starter coffee, those were not provided. There also was no dishwashing liquid to use to wash the few plates, bowls snd 2 wine glasses so those could be reused.

Wish we had longer

We had an amazing stay, loved everything about it except for not booking to stay longer so we are already talking about coming back even though it’s a 10 hr drive away. David & Kimberley were super responsive & helpful with some questions regarding the area before we arrived. Perfect hosts!

Wonderful Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods. The cabin provided everything the listing said it did. We had a slight issue with the hot tub, but the host was very communicable. She kept us up to date on repairs.

Great Location and Super Hosts

We had a wonderful weekend relaxing in this clean cabin located minutes from shopping/restaurants and the National Park. Nice setting with a private hot tub. I personally loved the arcade game. Kitchen was fully equipped. Television was easy to operate. Wi-fi was good. The host was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner.If I had to list anything that I would change, I would have enjoyed a recliner, but I'm sure recliners can be abused by renters.I would highly recommend this cabin.

Spring Break

Absolutely fantastic cabin in the mountains! We enjoyed our time there very much and would happily go back. Perfect for a family with kids because of how the cabin is set up. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help and answer questions at any time if and when needed. The one surprising thing we faced were just how extreme the road slopes would be to get to the cabin. Coming from a state that don’t have mountains, it did take a couple times to get use to the drive up and down but worth every bit of it!! Overall the cabin was perfect for what we were looking for!

We Wanna Go Back

The cabin is fully furnished and decorated in a tasteful manner. All utensils and amenities are provided. The rain on the metal roof created a soothing sound. The property backs up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, ensuring privacy with no neighbors behind. A black bear was observed near the cabin for a few days, so it is advisable to lock the gate on the garbage bin and your car doors. There are approximately seven other cabins nearby, each offering considerable privacy. The location is close to the park and dining options down the hill. The stay was one of our best.

Perfect short getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We’re semi local so it was nice to get away but not be so far from home. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The owners were super responsive to our questions before and after we left. Seems we had a bear visitor peeping in our car overnight and notice some strange smears on the car. The owners checked the security cameras and while it didn’t catch it on the car, it did catch it nearby and confirmed our suspicions. We would love to stay here again in the future!
