The things you need to know before booking: This cabin is located 1/2 way up the mountain with very steep, hairpin curves. I absolutely would not stay here in the winter or arrive after dark. The cabin "extras" are a little sparse. No cream or sugar for coffee, only 3 dishwasher pods, two bath towels per bathroom, etc. I assume this is because people steal all the extras. So come prepared. The good stuff: This cabin has the best view out of all the houses in the neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. My older kids all adored the game room upstairs and my toddler spent many happy hours with grandad on the porch swing. My kids loved seeing bears multiple times though it did get a little scary when a bear touched our van and knocked over a light pull. We were apprehensive about letting the kids go out in the yard unless necessary. There were plenty of beds and bathroom for everyone.
