Having stayed in the area multiple times, this location is perfect. It’s close to the parkway but feels secluded. Property was clean and we had plenty of space for everyone.
Check-in process was a bit more difficult. We were traveling and didn’t know until the day of that I had to sign several agreements at the office. Problem was we weren’t able to get there before the office closed. I was able to do it via email but it would have been better to do that the week prior when I wasn’t in a sketchy area for Internet. Not really the owners fault but maybe more convenient for travelers to do prior to check-in day. I understand not getting info until the day of the stay of course.
Also just fyi the kitchen is amazingly stocked with anything you need to use such as pots, pans, coffee makers, etc. However I think it would have helped us if we had known there was nothing else. No salt, pepper, or other shelf-stable essentials. We have stayed in multiple properties over the last 10 years and never had to purchase salt until this year. It wasn’t a big deal but I feel it would be nice to know ahead of time. Just information for others considering this property. I like to read reviews to help me plan.
Overall great experience and we would stay again knowing what we do now.
