We were in love with this cabin. Our family came down for my daughter’s spring break and this was the perfect place for us. We are farm people so the western decor and all the other decorations were perfect for us. Our girls loved the movie theater and the hot tub! The chairs were more comfortable than the ones at the theater. The host had everything stocked. With kitchen and every other room. We loved how there was plenty of towls in the whole cabin. We did not run out. It was easy access to everything to we wanted to do. There was plenty of space for everyone to separate and do their own thing. We loved being able to sit out on the balcony’s and bird watch. We got some pretty cool pictures. The host was absolutely great with answering our questions and being fast about it. They stay in contact with us and asked how our trip was going or if we needed anything. Loved the communication and how easy it was. We will 100% be staying here again! The girls have already asked when we could come back!

The cabin is beautiful! Fully stocked for dinner and game night at the cabin, with an oversized hot tub. The cabin is big and roomy with lots of space for the family to move around and not feel crowded. It was decorated so pretty for the holidays! Located only 5-8 mins from the store and town, it was the perfect spot! Will definitely stay again ! The host was very friendly and checked on us thorough out our stay.

Terrific communication with check in and out. We had plenty of room and loved playing pool. It was a great cabin for some quality family time. The roads were easy to maneuver if you are used to a few curves. It was not bad at all. I would stay again.

We had a great time at the cabin. It had a very spacious layout, and I was very impressed by the size of the kitchen. We didn’t use them because it was still warm, but I loved the gas logs throughout which would be super fun on a winter trip. The host provided videos for how to use everything and switches and remotes were all labeled making it super easy to navigate the space.My teen/tween boys LOVED the game room and movie room. The movie room is where we spent almost all of our down time—even for a nap in the reclining seating.The host was extremely responsive to all my questions and easy to work with. We’d recommend the property to others and would stay in it again. It was also very clean.The roads nearby are windy (like every place I’ve ever driven through in Sevierville), but everything was well paved which was a huge relief to me since that’s not always the situation.

Our family had a wonderful time on our Smokey Mountains vacation! We saw bears, waterfalls, and stunning scenery. We also went ziplining and white water rafting, which was so much fun!Joel & Claire's house made everything so easy, comfortable, and relaxing. The game and theater rooms were so fun and a big hit with our adult kids!Everything was very clean and ready tongo when we arrivedOur family loved that our vacation home was really like a home away from home. Clean, plenty of room and great communication

Host was very responsive, cabin was very clean and kept up. Plenty of space to spread out on the 3 levels with enough room for everyone to have their own space and do their own thing but also gather together.

Beautiful, spacious and fun!

We decided to stay in Sevierville versus Knoxville for our daughter's graduation from UTK. I completely agree and then some with other reviewers. This is beautiful, spacious, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating, and fun activities. They thought of everything.... from labels on the light switches to recommendations for dinner - everything we needed to know ;-) Several of our family and friends were very happy to see the 50% discount for the zipline and it was a huge hit! Very close to Pigeon Forge and easy drive to Knoxville when we needed to get there for graduation events. Joel and Claire were excellent with communicating information needed for our stay and responded quickly. We loved it and will be happy to book again!

Annual family trip

Took my adult kids on our annual family trip. We usually go to the beach, but wanted a different atmosphere this year. The cabin was perfect for us. Everyone had their own privacy and bathroom which was important to us. We loved the game and theater room and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. Selfishly, I would have liked the hot tub on the main level, but we still enjoyed it. Easy drive compared to some other roads I’ve been on in Tennessee. Great location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Joel was so easy to work with and he was so prompt when we needed to communicate any needs. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Cabin Trip

Stayed here for a few days for Spring Break - wanted a big theater room for movie nights, a big table for board games, a hot tub, a pool table, and a kitchen we could cook in - the cabin delivered everything we wanted and it was such a good experience. Everything was clean and worked - owners had a great set of youtube videos for explaining things like the movie room. Kitchen was reasonable well stocked with equipment (if you're planning to do a lot of boiling, bring your own big pot). Beds were some of the more comfortable I've stayed on while traveling. The movie room was already signed in to so many different services, but since it's a Chromecast, I was also able to cast a movie without needing to sign out/in. Would definitely consider staying here again. Honestly, the only downside is the cabin is in a large subdivision of cabins - not as remote/isolated as my typical selection. That said, no issues with obnoxious neighbors and it made it easy to get an Instacart delivery done.

Great cabin

Our family has rented a cabin almost yearly for Spring Break for the last several years. Happy Trails tops them all. Easy booking, easy arrival, easy checkout. We’ve historically stayed in Wears Valley but this cabin is far more convenient to Pigeon Forge. We had food delivered from local restaurants (all quite good) several times and it was never more than 45 minutes. We spent countless hours in the theater and playing pool. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this one again.

Excellent time

We booked this cabin with 4 adults and 1 toddler (1 year old.) This place was better than advertised. We loved the pool table. We had originally planned on having a dog sitter while we were gone but that fell apart a couple days before our trip. We messaged the host and they immediately accommodated. Once we arrived, I checked the hot tub to see if it was heated. Everything was working well. We went out the next day and came back to get in to find that it wasn’t working. The host immediately called me upon notifying him of the problem and walked me through the options that could possibly be an issue. I told him that those were not working. Immediately the next morning (within 14 hours) there was someone there to fix the hot tub. The host was fast with their responses and was always willing to accommodate. The cabin itself is beautiful. It is secluded enough in the mountains that it feels private but close enough to go out and enjoy pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. We will definitely be returning.

Weekend escape

We loved this cabin and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Very clean and spacious - our grown daughters used the basements on the first floor and we had the master on the 3rd floor. We never hear them and it was wonderful! Cabin is close to all the attractions and hiking trails. Very comfortable and everything we needed!

Great cabin

Stayed here with five other guys and had a great time. The cabin is not far from local places to eat. Would recommend to anyone. Only thing I would of like to have have is a port to connect our gaming console in the theater room.

Comfortable and Well Maintained Cabin

We loved this cabin! It was spacious and easily accommodated our group of 7 very well. It was very clean, and the movie room, hot tub and video games were a lot of fun. It is conveniently located to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The owners were proactive, responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving with family

Overall, the house was an excellent place for our group of 8. The kitchen was stocked extremely well and made prepping and serving Thanksgiving dinner much easier than expected. The cabin is cute and very clean. However, the shower door in the downstairs bathroom is broken. From the outside, it can be pushed close, although it does not stay. From inside the shower, the door does not stay closed for more than about 30 seconds. It then pops open, letting in freezing air and making a mess on the floor. We tried having someone close the door from the outside and pushing in the bottom corner. Unfortunately, that wedged the door shut and the person in the shower was stuck and had to be rescued. It made for a funny story, but it really does need to be repaired. Otherwise, it is a great cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
