"We had a wonderful stay! The house was great, as described. We were happily surprised by the trampoline in the yard. We were a large group and the house accommodated us very well! The owners were quick to respond to messages. There were also basics in the kitchen like sugar and salt and coffee, which was very helpful. I will mention that the water did have a smell. Though it was safe to drink, we did prefer to drink out of bottled water during our stay. When I reached out to the property...

"Great place to stay"

"We were a group of 10 high-school friends celebrating our collective 40th birthdays. This place was perfect to host us all. We had lots of space for cooking/eating, and multiple spaces to hang out. It was well equipped and we recommend. "

"Wonderful property with peaceful lake views! The cottage is simply lovely with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We enjoyed the ample living space and large kitchen. It was nice to have options for sitting outside and enjoying nature. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The entire place was very clean with simple and charming decor. A perfect fall getaway! We would love to return next year!"

"Great house, lots of room for large crowd. My only complaint was when we were barbecuing for visiting family for dinner, the barbecue tank was completely empty which meant a rushed trip to Canadian Tire and 20.00 in order to cook supper. The listing states we could get in at 2:30 and the host had it set for 3 but did allow us in. The listing also stated full tank for barbecue."

"Perfect property to spend a wonderful two days with close friends. The house is well stocked and flush with amenities - kitchen has everything you might need to cook, huge TVs everywhere, new bbq, lots of towels, nice bedrooms with comfy beds, and so much more! Sadly we didn’t have good weather so we couldn’t make good use of the dock and amazing deck space but we will be back! "

"The owner had removed the property and we apparently booked with some kind of zombie account. VRBO had not validated the listing but kept communicating everything was good to go. VRBO did book our party of nine hotel rooms. These were over a half hour from the property and no where near the beach. We had no facility to prepare the food we had brought and were forced to eat at restaurants the whole weekend. "Beautiful brand new house, 35 minute walk from town. I recommend the steamboat cruise. 15 minute drive from bracebridge where they have mini-put live music at the griffin pub.The backyard was not finished, it will be great in the future once fences are up and i recommend a fire pit a sauna or hot tub. "
