Nice unit / great location on the beach

Reviewer Comments: Wonderful Thanksgiving stay, up until the last day, when I asked if we might get a late checkout if the unit was not needed right away, the manager said that wouldn’t be a problem. I then asked if we could straighten out a billing matter. We had an extra person for 6 of our 7 nights, but were billed for 7 nights. When I asked the manager if a credit was possible she responded with “now your asking for 2 things!!!”, there was no consideration that the billing was incorrect and it was asked with polite kindness. The manager responded that since you want a late check-out we’ll just keep the difference...It wasn’t a lot of money so I let it go, but it was confrontational and the manager presented herself with an aire of annoyance that I the customer was putting her out by asking for clarification of my bill. I was disappointed in the way this was addressed, but the location, units and service staff are quite nice - so would consider staying again.

The communication leading up to the stay was wonderful and questions we had were answered quickly. The unit was spacious and so comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with tools. The grocery store is a walkable distance (be very careful crossing the roads!) and we were able to cook in the kitchen very comfortably. The staff at The Islands Club is so friendly. We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful space.

Fantastic Condo and Beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic week in Condo #8 at The Islands Club. The layout of this condo is great for families. We had 4 adults and 2 children but could have easily accommodated more. The condo is spacious, and we never felt like we were crowded, even in the kitchen. The deck overlooking the beach and ocean is amazing. There is enough room for everyone, and it's shaded during the hot parts of the day. Sunsets from the deck are beautiful every night. The beach is probably one of the best we've been to, and we've been to Mexico, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Aruba, and the Grenadines. It's a deep beach, so the people walking the beach is never walking in front of you. It's also away from the more heavily populated hotels, which is what we were looking for.The location of the condo is great, too. It's a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. I recommend bringing sturdy and easy to carry bags with so making the walk back is easy. I had a backpack with me to carry the heavy beverages. Restaurants are very easy to walk to along the beach and there are also many in Camana Bay by the grocery store. Angela and Monica in the office were always available to assist. They had recommendations and helped to find an excursion for us. We enjoyed Captain Marvin's and visiting Sting Ray City, snorkeling in the Coral Garden, and visiting Star Fish Point. The housekeeping staff was also fantastic every day. Regarding condo amenities, there are more than enough bedding and pillows. There is a regular coffee pot and Keurig for whatever you prefer. Pods are expensive at the grocery store ($1.25 each), so bring some pods if you want to save some money! The blender works great for mixed drinks and kid's smoothies. There is an electric grill on the deck that works great for hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.Such a week of fun! We're already talking about coming back!
