Very comfortable condo, very small patch of beach but in walking distance of the Marriott with floats and Coconut Joes, on the route to Living the Dream Divers who provided the best diving experience I have ever had!

Comfortable for the whole family

Loved our stay and we had everything we needed. The condo was spacious for our group of 5 adults and one 5 year old. Views were amazing and having the option on two pools was great for a family with kids. We did rent a car to access other beaches, shop for groceries and visits sites on the island. All the reviews of the condo were really accurate as was the info provided . The condo was well equipped in the kitchen, comfortable for our group to hang out on the balcony or watch a movie together in the evening. The design was tasteful and relaxing. There are good restaurants that are walkable. We mostly ate in for breakfast, headed out for the day on excursions, and cooked or ate out for dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome place

We loved it. The porch view is amazing. The place was super clean and comfortable. Great snorkeling right off the beach. Everything you could want - paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear, etc. Restaurants within walking distance were delicious. Easy bus service and close grocery store. We wouldn’t change a thing!

Great Stay overlooking the ocean

Excellent location on the ocean and close to everything! Nice resort includes two pools, tennis court and grills that we made use of. Can also snorkel directly off shore of the resort.

Right on the water

Amazing views. Right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Host was very flexible when our departure flights got delayed. Beds were comfortable and location was nice and quiet. We loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Condo

We loved our stay at Plantation Village. The condo was just as described and had tons of room for our family including two college-aged kids. Everyone had plenty of space and the condo had everything we needed. Beach chairs, coolers, even a jug so we could bring rum punch the beach. The highlight though is the huge screened in balcony with the most amazing water views, it was like being on a cruise ship. There is a small beach but the water was very shallow and full of coral/rocks, so definitely bring water shoes. However, there is great snorkeling right off the condo and short walk to the sandier spots of 7-mile beach. It was also a short walk to some great restaurants. We really enjoyed Ms. Piper's, Pepper's and the Wharf. Will be back!

Great stay at Plantation Village

We loved staying Michael's place in Plantation Village. The porch overlooking the ocean is wonderful, and the location is fantastic. The unit was exactly as described, and the information was very clear. We hope to be back one day!

Great place

Super easy check in which is so nice after a long travel day. Close to lots of dining snorkeling and shopping. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean. Cant beat the view. Saw a lobster swimming out front and several fish. Would absolutely stay here again.

Slice of Paradise

This is a very quiet, peaceful and serene place to stay in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The condo was perfect and the view was amazing. I loved waking up to overlook the water, palm trees, pool and beach. The outside patio was perfect to drink coffee or have a cold beer after a long day at the beach. I even slept out there one evening to experience the peaceful sounds of the waves. I highly recommend this property. The goggles, floats, paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas really helped us feel at home with special amenities. The snorkeling right at our beach was a hit with my husband and kids. I liked that it wasn't crowded, and I felt like we were in our own quaint piece of paradise. I loved the little book from previous guests and found their entries helpful in making plans to explore the island. The tour to Stingray Bay and Starfish Point was amazing. Also, I highly recommend The Grand Old House and Coconut Joes. We took the bus around and it was convenient and cheap. We didn't realize most grocery stores are closed on Sunday but found one called Shop Rite that got us through until Monday. The condo's layout was perfect for our family. It felt spacious and welcoming. The pillows were very comfortable. We never felt too hot at night even with the temp set on 74. It's best to get to the beach early and secure your spot. Not a lot of people there, so it felt very private. Next year, we plan to go again. Thank you!

A Wonderful Grand Cayman vacation

We had 4 adults and 2 teens. All 6 agree that the condo was excellent. We did not need more than what was available. The complex was very clean and professionally landscaped. We never had more than 30 minutes to drive to all of the places we wanted to see. We will return to Grand Cayman, and if/when we do, we hope to get the same Condo. Thank you

Beautiful

This was our first time in Cayman and it was absolutely beautiful. The property is exactly as pictured and was perfect for our family of 5. I will start with the negatives. There is no beach which was important for us and it says u can walk to the beach but there is signs everywhere stating Private property. So we had to drive to get to a beach. Coral beach is down the road but we chose Governors Beach which was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. It was about 12 minutes driving. Another thing for me was the thermostat is locked at 74 for us Texans that is warm. I didn't sleep well so I reached out to Michael asking if it could at least be lowered at night to sleep in comfort and he agreed to remotely change it at night. My thoughts were for the price I paid for the week I wouldn't expect to have to ask permission to cool the property. The last negative we had was the Wifi consistently went down daily, all 3 of my children complained daily. A few times we were watching Netflix n it went down so we just turned the TV off. Now the positives, the property is in a perfect location. There is food, snacks, desserts all in walking distance. Any excursions u have planned they will come and pick u up from the property it was very convenient. Check n check out was fast n simple and everyone was friendly. The washer n dryer are super convenient nobody wants to go back home to loads of dirty laundry. overall we enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

Stunning views, nicely renovated unit, fully stocked kitchen! Those are only a few of the pluses for staying in this unit! We loved the amenities and the location! The only negative was that the thermostat was locked at 74 degrees and it was very warm and uncomfortable to sleep at night. For that reason alone we will probably look somewhere else for our next stay.

Great condo

Condo was in great location. Able to walk to several restaurants. Right out front easy to catch the bus to Georgetown. The view from the condo was amazing. The pool was never crowded. Furnishings were as pictured and comfortable. Sad the beach washed away. Hopefully the sand will return soon. Thanks for sharing your condo Michael.

Amazing!!

Fantastic, extremely clean condo in a quiet, central location. Pictures are accurate. It was perfect for our family of four with two teens. We loved drinking coffee on the screened porch each morning as the water sparkled and a cocktail in the evening watching the breathtaking sunset. The pool was perfect and the small beach as pictured. Just a short walk in shallow water to 7 mile beach for long strolls. The kayaks and paddleboards were an added bonus. The only complaint is that we had to leave! We would definitely love to return and stay at the condo again.

This was the perfect property for our family of 5 to get all the amenities we wanted on our holiday and in an excellent location to enjoy all that cayman has to offer. Condo was perfect for us. Good location. Loved Peppers and Coconut Joes, walking distance. Suggestions for Condo…rugs for entrance and and patio. Also the kitchen. Not sure if this is possible but it would be great if spices, aluminum foil, baggies, etc. could be left for future guests. Will totally stay here again.

The air conditioning in our unit didn't work consistently. There seems to have been a lock on the thermostat that prevented us from adjusting the air. Most times the temperature didn't get below 81 degrees inside. The iron didn't work. The bath towels were rough. It would be nice to have a small package of laundry detergent included in the items provided by the host. Due to the hurricane the beach was washed away. We had to go several blocks to get to a portion of the beach that wasn't washed away.

Perfect in every way

This property was perfect. I would stay here over and over if I could escape to the Cayman Islands anytime! The home was equipped with everything a family could need, beds were all comfortable, furniture was fresh, clean, new. Outstanding views from bedroom and screened in porch. The pool was cool and refreshing, property was well maintained and organized. Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. The real star was the private beach and beautiful snorkeling that we indulged in everyday. Lunch at the Marriott was great next door and peace and quiet back in plantation village was the perfect mix. Thanks you! Best vacation
