"Took the family and dog there for a short spring break and it’s just perfect for a family of 4 with plenty of space for more (Futon upstairs). The fireplace was a nice touch. And a great back porch. Checking in is a breeze. There’s a great pond close by. And it’s all within driving distance to great hiking and going into Boone/Blowing Rock or whatever you want. My wife loved it. Will do again. Good quiet place to reset."

"Cozy cabin with a well stocked kitchen (though I recommend bringing your own spices if you do a lot of cooking), and I appreciated the toiletries provided in the bathrooms. "We found the rental to be mostly clean and as described. Be aware if you travel in the summer that it can still be warm on the mountain, and this unit doesn’t have AC.
