They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. "We stayed in an room across the car park from the main building. The room was a good size, very modern and clean with a good shower and modern TV. Staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was good quality with good cereal and fruit juice options. Well worth a visit. "

"We asked for aground floor as we do not do well with steps and they put us in an annex which was obviously new and was just right for us. Our fault that we didn't ask for clean towels etc. The staff are all very welcoming and the meals variable and very enjoyable."

"Clean room, if tired, was nice for 2 nights though I did mention to them that the mattress in our lovely room really needed replacing. The staff were great but clearly shorthanded. On our first night we ate in the bar, but waited an hour for our meals which were ok... The views as shown on the ads are spot on - incredible, and we were very lucky with the weather. With some investment, this place could be really, really lovely, inside as well as out."

"I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic "

"The room was ok,but you could smell kitchen odours in the bathroom . The evening meals were poor, alot of the meals did not have the ingredients and the meals were poorly cooked. Lacked organisation "

"Came for the night and it didn’t disappoint. Fiona was a lovely host and left nothing to chance. Room was perfect, breakfast was cooked to order and attention to details was amazing. Highly recommended an would definitely stay again. Thanks very much"
