Sehr schöne, gepflegte Unterkunft! Auto unbedingt erforderlich Zum nächsten Strand ca 20min zu Fuß. Lissabon ist in ca 45 min erreichbar. Paulo, der Vermieter, ist sehr bemüht, gute Kommunikation.

We had a great week at this lovely house. The pool is brilliant - a good length and well maintained. We also loved the outside sofas under the awning - it was great to have a decent amount of shade and make the most of the outside space. Paulo was a helpful and responsive host and access to the property was really easy. Thank you!

Amazing

Such a great property for the family. Toys for our 3yr old and trampoline and play frame. The pool was wonderful - recommend heating it. Beach is quite a walk and very steep we didnt tackle it but lovely beach 5min drive away.Paulo was great and very easy to contact during our stay.

Lovely house in a great area

We took our 6 year old for a trip to Portugal for a week and loved our stay here. It had a great play area for kids and the heated pool was lovely (extra charge applies for it to be heated but was totally worth it). The house was pleasant, had parking and well located for trips around the penisular. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the gas bbq in the evenings. Host was helpful and sorted out anything when requested. Good communication all round.

Beautiful House, Peaceful Location

We had a wonderful stay in Father’s House Beach House. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely pool & garden. It was the perfect place to relax. We walked through the forest to the beach every day. Steep climb but worth it. Huge, mainly deserted beach which was really picturesque with amazing sunsets. It’s also possible to walk to the village where there are some nice cafes and restaurants. Contact with the host was really good. He sent lots of info prior to check-in & checked on us while we were there to ensure it was all going well. Would love to go back again! Highly recommended for a relaxing week of peace & quiet in nature.

Belle maison, mais manque d'entretien (spots qui pendent, trace de rouille, meuble cassé, ménage succinct pour 120 euros); J'aurais aimé avoir des informations à disposition pour connaitre les festivités et les lieux à visiter. Piscine non chauffée, à moins de payer 15 eur/jour, ce n'était pas indiqué dans l'annonce, sinon nous aurions peut-être retenu une autre location...

We are just back from 2 glorious weeks at Paolo's property in Meco. Honestly, everything was perfect for us. The house itself was well-presented and well-equipped, spacious, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the outside areas. The pool was a bit chilly (we were offered the option to heat it prior to arrival which we didn't take) but a decent size and we made use of it pretty much every day. Communication with Paolo was very easy (via Whatsapp), he sent us all the information we could possibly need ahead of our stay and checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Ideal for what we like - totally unobtrusive but available if we needed anything. We have visited Portugal lots of times before but never this area. We absolutely loved exploring the towns and villages of the Serra da Arrabida and of course the stunning beaches. We hired a car but Ubers are also readily available in the area and super cheap. The specific location within Aldeia do Meco was great - walkable (via road) to the plethora of bars/restaurants in the village centre.We had a lovely time (we really REALLY didn't want to leave!) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa do Pai (Fathers House) - Obrigada Paolo :)

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Haus liegt in einem kleinen, ruhigen Ort und eignet sich sehr gut für Ausflüge z. B. nach Lissabon oder Sintra (ca. 1 Stunde entfernt). Das Haus ist geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet, die Küche hat alles, was man braucht: Mikrowelle, Backofen, Geschirrspülmaschine, usw. Die beiden Schlafzimmer mit den Doppelbetten lassen sich verdunkeln, die Matratzen waren sehr bequem, nicht zu hart. Besonders schön ist der kleine offene Innenhof zwischen Küche und Wohnzimmer. Auf der Terrasse befinden sich sehr großzügige, gemütliche Lounge-Möbel, eine Markise bietet bei Bedarf Verschattung. Ein kleines Pool-Haus beherbergt weitere Lounge-Möbel. Der Pool ist sauber und großzügig und kann bei Bedarf gegen eine Extra-Gegühr beheizt werden, was wir aber nicht benötigt haben. Die Beschreibung entspricht dem aktuellen Zustand und der Ausstattung des Hauses. Der Zugang war per Code sehr einfach. Der Gastgeber Paolo ist herzlich und hilft bei allen Fragen und Problem sofort. Vor der Anreise haben wir ausführliche Infos über Supermärkte, Strandzugänge usw. in der Umgebung erhalten, die sehr hilfreich waren. Wir können das Haus von Herzen empfehlen und danken Paolo für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Schönes Haus in einer guten Umgebung

Wir hatten als Familie, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (1 und 5 Jahre), eine sehr schöne Zeit in Paulos Haus. Für uns positiv waren der beheizte Pool, das schöne Außengelände mit kleinem Spielplatz und einem Trampolin, Poolhandtücher und Bademäntel, großer Wohn/Essbereich. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und alle Geräte haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Haus ist schon zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Schlafzimmer sind relativ klein, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Die Kommunikation mit Paulo war sehr gut, er hat sehr schnell geantwortet und Probleme wurden sehr schnell gelöst. Die schönsten Strände sind nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Man kann auch zu einem Strandabschnitt laufen (ca. 10-15 min), was aber mit kleinen Kindern nicht zu empfehlen ist, da der letzte Teil des Weges relativ steil ist.

Un séjour parfait

La maison est superbe. Très propre et fonctionnelle. Idéale pour les enfants : piscine, jeux extérieurs, jouets. Nous avons passé une super séjour dans la maison. Quant au village de Aldeia do meco c'est un vrai coup de cœur : de supers restau. L'hôte nous a communiqué ses meilleures adresses et conseils : nous le remercions

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus ist in gutem Zustand und enthält alles, was man benötigt. Ein Gasgrill und ein schöner Pool stehen zur Verfügung. Der Zugang zum Haus erfolgt ohne Schlüssel über Zahlenschlösser - das Türschloss ist allerdings etwas hakelig. Die Umgebung ist eher ruhig, es gibt ein paar Restaurants 10-15 Minuten fußläufig entfernt. Der Strand ist ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichen - hier muss aber erwähnt werden, dass es sehr steil ist. Alternativ erreicht man einen schönen Strand in 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war hervorragend. Schon am Tag vor der Anreise bekamen wir allerhand Informationen zum Reiseziel. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und können das Haus und den Vermieter uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Superbe maison pour les vacances

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine dans cette belle villa parfaitement équipée, propre avec un jardin parfaitement entretenu. Nous avons communiqué avec Paulo via whatsapp qui a pris régulièrement de nos nouvelles et voulait s’assurer de notre bien-être. Nous avons apprécié le barbecue mis à disposition, la piscine avec une eau chaude, la proximité des plages à pied (balade de 15 minutes) et en voiture (2 minutes). Vous avez quelques restaurants également à 5 minutes de voiture (nous le faisions à pied mais je le déconseille avec des jeunes enfants car il n’y a pas de trottoir). Nous avons visité Lisbonne (45 minutes avec la circulation) Sintra (1h05 de voiture) et sesimbra (plages et restaurants). Je recommande vivement cette maison pour passer un séjour au calme en famille ou entre amis.

schönes Haus mit kleineren Mängeln

Das Objekt ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Im Haus sind jedoch einige Reparaturen und Ausbesserungen notwendig. Das Laminat und die Sockelleisten müssten erneuert werden, einige Fensterverschlüsse klemmen etwas und hier und da sind kleinere Reparaturen notwendig. Es war trotzdem ein sehr schöner Urlaub und Paulo der Vermieter ist sehr nett.

Bezauberndes Haus mit Meeresrauschen

Das Objekt hielt, was es versprach. Nah zum Meer, wir konnten vom Pool aus, das Rauschen des Meeres genießen, ist in fußläufiger Nähe ein absolut toller fast privater Strandabschnitt zu erreichen. Die Lage des Hauses bietet sich aber neben tollen Stränden und den Möglichkeiten, die sich damit verbinden lassen, auch an Tagesausflüge nach Lissabon zu machen. Für uns war gerade diese Kombination ideal. Paulo war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und war für uns immer ansprechbar. Das war super und persönlich. Wir kommen bestimmt einmal wieder.

Très beau séjour dans un endroit magnifique

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison contemporaine. Le propriétaire était très sympathique et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Les chambres étaient impeccables, la literie de haute qualité et le tout très propre. Les deux salles d’eau très fonctionnelles au design impeccable. Très jolie maison aux grands volumes très lumineux. Les seuls bémols furent le froid car nius sommes tombés sur une semaine froide er la maison a beaucoup de mal à chauffer vu les grandes baies vitrées..et la cassette feu ouvert était hors d’usage. Autre point à noter, la présence de 3 caméras que le propriétaires ne nous a pas caché mais nous avons occulté celke du patio intérieur car elke pouvait nous observer dans la cuisine couloir et salon ce qui était pour nous inconcevable évidemment. Hormis ceci très beau séjour dans un région magnifique et très riche culturelleainsi que ressourçante à la lisière d’une réserve naturelle exceptionnelle. A conseiller ! Également des jeux pour enfants au fond du jardin 👍

Sehr schönes Feriendomizil für Paare oder die Familie

Schon vor der Ankunft hat uns Gastgeber Paulo mit wichtigen Informationen versorgt (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Anfahrt etc.), sehr hilfreich. Die Übergabe war problemlos, freundlich und umfassend. Das Haus hat 2 echte Schlafzimmer und ein kleineres Zimmer mit Etagenbett, eher für die Kinder. Alles sauber. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Garten sehr schön, sehr sauber. Der Pool ist ein echter Knaller, nicht einsehbar von außen wir haben viel Zeit darin verbracht. Bei kleineren Problemen war Paulo sehr aufmerksam und eine große Hilfe. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt, eine echte Empfehlung !

Lovely Villa with great Host

We stayed in the Pai Beach House for 2 weeks during August Summer holiday (family of 4), On arrival the Beach House did not disappoint, we were met by Paulo who showed us around and answered any questions we may of had about the house and surrounding area, he was also easily contactable if any queries arose. The house was very well equipped with all mod-cons you would expect and there was a lovely eating area for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The outdoor area was lovely and relaxing including a great pool. The house is located in a quiet area with a local campsite in walking distance (1 minute) where you could purchase fresh bread daily and any small grocery items if required, main supermarkets were a 15 minute commute by car. There were 5-6 restaurants in the village which we tried a number of and were all great (2 minutes by car), there was also a great Pizzeria walking distance from the house (our favorite of all). There is a beach that is walking distance from the house (15 minute walk) and 2 other very close by car, one 2 minute drive and the other 5 minute drive. The house was located 30 minutes from Lisbon so we managed to incorporate and enjoy some nice trips into Lisbon to mix the beach holiday with City life also. Would recommend a stay to anyone.
