Jon and Amanda are great hosts! Upon arrival, Jon met us and gave us a tour of the house and grounds. The house is very clean and well equipped. It has a spectacular view and the grounds are very well maintained. We ate outside on the deck quite often. We do hope to return!

Beyond excellent

This place is incredible. Excellent views. Has everything you need. Very well stocked. If it isn’t there then all you need to do is ask. Jon is very well organized and super friendly. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and is more than happy to share it with you. Sequim (pronounced squim by locals) is a super cute town and close enough to Olympic National Park. There is nothing negative to say about this place.

Beautiful location

This place was absolutely beautiful and the owner was very hospitable. The grounds were well kept and the unit was very clean as well. The view off the bluff over the ocean was incredible and the sunset was a 10/10. Tons of wildlife around the area including hummingbirds both days, bald eagle sightings, seals way down in the ocean, etc. The owners have some binoculars to use as well which was a nice bonus. good vibe!

Peaceful Retreat

This was an amazing place to stay! The peace and views of the ocean were incredible. The backyard is a vacation itself and may have even been undersold as to how amazing it is. We started and ended each day during the stay reading and reflecting back there. Jon is an amazing host! He is very thorough, the place is immaculate, and his knowledge and passion of the area was very helpful when deciding what to do. Just wish we had more time. One challenge is that the west side of Olympic NP is a longer drive, so staying in multiple locations during our visit (if we had time) might have been helpful. Highly recommended place.

Amazing!

The photos do not do justice to this place! The house was super clean, had everything we needed, and the hosts were willing to help in any way they could. It's a truly special property with beautiful bay views and beach access.

Serenity by the sea

This property is amazing! It has great amenities. The views are stunning! It was very clean. It is the BEST Vacation rental that we have visited, in all of our travels. The hosts are very friendly, kind and accommodating. We had a very relaxing stay.

Views for Days

We spent 5 days at this beautiful home and property. The home was well stocked and very clean. The host was attentive and provided helpful suggestions for activities to do in the area. It was also easy to walk to a quiet beach and through the forest from the property. We would highly recommend this place!

Beauty by the Sea

Sanctuary by the Sea is truly a beautiful location. The home is well taken care of and the backyard’s landscape is amazing. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and helped us with all of our inquiries. They also provided help with the adventures we had planned. We will definitely stay there again when we plan trips to Washington in the future.

Absolutely beautiful view

The property is remote, which is lovely. The views are breathtaking, the property is very well maintained. We were surprised to find out that it literally shared a hall way entrance with the owner's house. We thought it was a singular dwelling. The owners were as respectful and quiet as possible, but there's all the comings and goings that have to happen with the doors And of course the yard work that needed to be done cuz there had just been a really significant wind storm. The other surprise to us was that the second bedroom is only accessible through the main bedroom. So maybe not great for two couples but certainly fine for two people or a couple with children. The owners were super helpful and full of information about the surrounding area if you were unfamiliar . Overall we did have a nice stay.

The description doesnt lie!!

Beautiful views and beautiful surroundings. We were able to see deers near the property, sit and enjoy the beautiful water views from the backyard (found it very soothing). The house had all the amenities we needed.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable, scenic and prepped

Honestly I think I depend on reviews and don't leave them often enough, so here goes. I am a really picky person when it comes to cleanliness and this is the first booking in a hotel or other entity for that matter that I literally did not think for a moment about putting my belongings down, taking my shoes off, taking a shower or getting into bed. It was very, very clean and very well organized. A lot of thought has gone into this space. The hosts communicated beautifully and in a timely manner with clear directions and instructions. And although every attempt was made we didn't actually get to meet as our schedules did not line up. But we felt very welcomed nonetheless. The space, the property and the setting / views were beautiful. I highly recommend this stay. Do not let the fact that it is not in town proper dissuade you from booking. It was very much worth. Six stars.

Beautiful spot, awkward sleeping arrangement

The house and surroundings are fabulous. Wonderful view of the water and garden. Nice living room, dining area and kitchen. The problem for us, two older couples, is that the second bedroom has no windows, therefore no ventilation, and you have to access this bedroom by going through the large bedroom meaning little privacy. The bathroom for the second bedroom is through the large bedroom and then through the kitchen, not ideal for night time use.

Amazing Place to Stay!!

I was a guest at this property with 2 friends - we had a quick girls get away. Everything about the experience was fantastic. Jon is a great communicator and so friendly; we discussed our plans for the next two days and he gave us some great suggestions. The space itself is beautiful and has everything that you might need. The accommodations are lovely and the view is gorgeous. We could not have been more pleased. I hope to return with my husband at some point! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Beautiful to sit on deck and watch the water

Nice and spacious for a couple. Guess can work for a family as second bedroom is accessed through master bedroom. Very attentive host. Very clean. Lovely location
