We cannot say enough about what an amazing time we had staying at the teahouse. The property was immaculate inside and out. Upon arrival, we could not help but be amazed at the impeccable detail of the garden. It was beautiful and definitely added to the stay. The check-in procedure was flawless and home had been beautifully cleaned before our arrival. Everything you could hope for was inside the home. The instructions left were clear and easy to follow. The beds were comfortable and extra bedding was provided. The home is open and has several separate locations to sit and enjoy the amazing view that you get when looking out the many, many windows. The location was fantastic, being off the beaten path, but not so far off that you weren’t close to amenities. And the communication from the homeowner was terrific before and during our stay. Honestly, this is the nicest property we have ever stayed in when using Vrbo. We hope to be able to return one day. We highly recommend staying at the teahouse.

The Teahouse was everything the host expressed and more. It was super clean, organized and thoughtfully designed to accommodate travelers, well-equipped and a great location, suited to explore the western peninsula or Port Townsend area in the other direction. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the beautiful bed linens. Paula, the most reliable host, provided us with helpful advice and recommendations, and she was very responsive to our questions. I can’t remember having a better host in all of our short -term rental stays. All of her instructions for check-in, self-entry and parking were easy, and we were able to settle in quickly to enjoy our wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit to her beautiful teahouse in the woods.

This was a perfect getaway for the two of us. They really did provide everything needed for a relaxing time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, they had books to read, games to play, and the tv was setup to stream any service you have an account for. We liked the multiple seating areas outside to enjoy the quiet solitude.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

Lovely house in a beautiful setting! My wife and I visited for a long weekend. The peaceful gardens and tranquil views make you feel like a part of nature. Great jumping off place to explore the Olympic Peninsula!

From sunrise to sunset the Teahouse does not disappoint. Classy decor on the inside and the windows in all directions allow the Teahouse, nature and gardens to feel as one. We will return and recommend our other family members to book.

Sigh...

This place deserves an award for architecture and design. Our favorite hosts and place. We stayed the second week of our three-week Meandering North journey from Northern California through Oregon and on to the Teahouse. Visited Hurricane Ridge and then settled into the restful setting. Rain? Who cares? It just made it more romantic. We hope you will give yourself the gift of spending time here.

Exactly What We Hoped For

Excellent!

The Tea House is a great rental. It’s perfectly located on a quiet road, nestled in the woods. While the neighboring house is very close, the tea house still feels private. It is immaculately clean and very well appointed. It was a great location for exploring Olympic National Park. My only sadness is that we had to leave early due to me getting sick - but the owners had exceptional communication with us and were extremely we look forward to renting this space again sometime in the future!

This is a really phenomenal property starting with the overall setting including the beautifully landscaped yard, the lovely bay view through gorgeous madrone trees and the fantastic architecture of the house itself. Inside we found a pristine interior with tasteful decor and extremely comfortable furnishings. Every need has been considered, is very well organized and marked with labels so is easy to find. The house is fully equipped with all of the bedroom, bath and kitchen necessities one would need. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 28th anniversary. Paula and Scott left us a nice note and a bottle of champagne. We found them to be so kind, responsive and friendly during our stay. We only communicated with them because they were so kind but we had no concerns or issues, There were covered decks to sit under as well as a patio we didn’t use this time but looked like a lovely way to spend an evening. We experienced both sunny and rainy days during our five day stay and all were magical. I have had reservations writing this because I know once discovered this house will be difficult to book. Don’t hesitate to book, you will be enchanted.

The Tea House in the woods can only be described as incredibly beautiful and tranquil inside and out. Our hosts Paula and Scott have taken every measure to accommodate and guests can want for nothing. From a well equipped kitchen to an abundance of high quality toiletries, they have supplied it. The bed and all the furniture is high end and comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting Scott he has a great personality! Let’s put it this way… we already have friends looking to book time there from the pics we have sent out and we are also looking forward to returning!! Eddie & Brenda
