Beautiful views, cosy atmosphere

We loved our stay and would absolutely return again. The views are the best in the area, and the house itself is cosy with a fireplace, and a beach house vibe. We loved being in a more isolated area (but still close to everything) and loved our daily walk to Wye River and the beach. Thanks Denise!!

Hidden Haven at Separation Creek

We spent 4 nights at Harry and absolutely loved it! We were looking for a tranquil and quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle and we certainly found it with Harry. Separation Creek/Wye River is a hidden gem around 20mins from Lorne and 30mins from Apollo Bay. Harry was just divine. Amazing views, 5 mins walk to the beach and amongst gorgeous bushland and wildlife. The property itself was beautiful. It had so much character but was also modern and immaculately kept. The fireplace was so cozy and warm (wood included). Denise our host had everything you could ever need included at the property such as bedlinen, towels, soap etc. and a kitchen full of every utensil you would need to cook your meals. I could go on and on about this property. We can't wait to return to enjoy a wine on the balcony taking in the spectacular view and throwing a log on the fire after the sun sets. Thank you, Denise, for allowing us to stay at your stunning property "HARRY"

Lovely and comfortable property, excellent location with spectacular views of the coast and surrounding bush land. Abundant bird life - parrots, finches, wrens and honey eaters to name a few.

Weekend getaway with our furry kids

Great house, well equipped for a few days or a week, warm, clean, very comfy bed, you can see and hear the waves crashing from bed, deck, & lounge. Easy walk to the beach or Wye River. Our dogs loved watching the king parrots & cockies land on the deck. We’ll definitely be back.

Stunning ocean view

Lovely comfortable cottage with open fireplace to keep you warm in winter. Very comfortable bed and all you need in the kitchen for cooking. Lovely ocean views from the main bedroom, living room and the large deck.

Amazing view and lovely beach house

Great beach house with an amazing view of the ocean. Well equiped kitchen and bathroom. Morning coffees a treat on the deck looking out at the sunrise where the hills meet the water. Restful sleep helped along by very comfy king size bed listening to the waves crash. Warm inviting spot - we’ll be back!

Very relaxing.

We had a lovely stay and the weather was unseasonal meaning there was no rain and sunshine. The accommodation was great with everything we needed being catered for. There are so many great points that I cannot list here and do justice. Only downside was a need for a quick cleaning of some walls where there are specks etc and the mat needs a good beating and hose down. Really enjoyed the area and can recommend the residence. Thank you.

Amazing views photos don’t do it justice

Wow what a view. We knew we were in for a great trip when we opened the door. This house is bright and comfortable with a great view of the beach and ocean. Not only from the living area but also from the bedroom. Wonderful time for both 2 and 4 legged family members. Thanks we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect and has everything you need. Very clean and tidy.

We stayed 6 nights with our pup and everything was perfect. Denise was extremely responsive and helpful. I lost my wallet and Denise found it at the house and returned it to me - thanks Denise!! Loved the outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. Would definitely re-book this house.

Beautiful location

Stunning location right on the beach. Property needs updating eg door into bedroom from sitting room doesnt close properly so privacy can be an issue , fly screen stuck so not effective. No phone reception or wifi available so no way to communicate with anyone which was an issue for us as we did need to contact each other a few times (we were a group). Issues with water being turned off at the mains and due to the fact of no phone reception we only managed to find out from the owner the day before we left how to turn it back on. This meant having to have cold showers which didn't go down well with the kids. Overall the properly is lovely and in a beautiful location, for the price I feel it needs a bit more updating before I would return.

Christmas beach stay

We spent Christmas in this lovely little cottage. It was very cosy, beds lovely and comfortable and the kitchen was well-equiped with everything necessary to cook up a gourmet Christmas lunch. Only a short walk to the beautiful beach. My only request would be to fence off the lovely back garden-(and install a dog door) as it ended up being our favourite spot. Unfortunately we had to tie up our little dog up every time we wanted to go and spend time out there. A lovely, quiet get-away. Thank you Denise!

Great views on this small home

A small home yet great views! Unfortunately, I don’t think that there had been people staying in the house for a while as we had dust, cobwebs and a very unpleasant odour on arrival. We also had to remove a large vase with old flour from the front bedroom as it was full of mould. Just an oversight I’d guess?! Once we did our own clean and aired the house out it was a pleasant stay. Bed very comfortable. Cleanliness was definitely an issue!
