"Had a one-week family holiday in one of the cosy and spacious apartments. Excellent, beatiful location by a little river in a small village. Friendly staff, everything went smoothly. Good place to relax and cycle around in forests, plus drive to different interesting places and back. Airport is near but you don't hear engine noises. "The property is very clean and has everything you need for a large group of people (we had nine). Cot and high chair were provided for the baby. The communication with the host Klemen was excellent. WiFi is good (36Mbps). The location is at the edge of Ljubljana in a pleasant residential area, and has good access to the main ring road. We particularly enjoyed the Cool House restaurant which is just a few minutes’ drive away."

"We had a great stay at Barrio Alto! The location was amazing for accessing the old city of Ljubljana. We loved being in walking distance to everything, including the castle. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the charm of the building as well. Parking was not an issue for us as we’re happy to walk a ways, but if you need to be able to park really close, be sure to look into the options provided by the host."

"Awesome place a block from historic Ljubljana. Comfortable mini apartments with a gated parking lot. We had the basement apartment 3 - maybe the smallest and we thought great place. Can only imagine the other ones. No on-site staff, but don’t let that stop you. Super responsive with messaging. And everything set up with coded key pads. And sent us list of recommended restaurants. Don’t miss the bars and restaurants near John the Baptist church close to Vila Emona."
