Lindsey Landing was great for a small family get-together over Thanksgiving. The home is clean; well furnished with comfortable beds; large tvs; well supplied kitchen with all needed utensils; and laid out in a manner that gave us a chance to get together without being on top of each other. The outdoor firepit and the gas firepit on the porch are nice additions. Nicole was a pleasure to work with - prompt and responsive to questions. Look forward to booking again, perhaps when the water is a little warmer.

The property was really lovely—well appointed, clean, and like my kids said, “it felt like home.” The description mentioned very comfortable mattresses, and that was right! We all appreciated beds like we have at home, that are comfortable and don’t leave us with backaches in the morning. It is right on the water, and we enjoyed access to the kayaks, paddle board and dock for fishing. The host provided timely, comprehensive, and clear communications, making the trip a breeze.

Super clean, well kept property. Kitchen fully stocked, plenty of space for our group of 9 (kids and adults). The dock was a great hangout spot and safe for kids to swim and fish. I would highly recommend d this property to anyone looking for a peaceful cove on the lake.

We had an amazing vacation at Lake Keowee Retreat! Nicole was quick to respond to all of our questions and one minor issue we had was resolved with a repairman on-site in an hour on the weekend!! The house was perfect, and exceeded all of our expectations. Much fun was had swimming at the dock, fishing, and boating. Many hours were spent on the top porch enjoying coffee, the breeze, and evening cocktails. It was everyone’s favorite hangout spot! I can’t think of a single thing I would change! We’ll be back!!!

Great Place

Was an excellent experiance, our first time at the Lake and the location could not have been better. The house is outstanding for a parting of 8 to 10. house is very clean and property have everything needed and then some. Pingpong tbale was a nice added extra and the patio and setup was great for a family experiance.

So fun! My mom owns a lake house on Lake Keowee too, but with our growing family, we needed more space. This home was in the perfect location—just 3 minutes from hers—and worked out so well for us. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.The kitchen was well-equipped, which we appreciated since our family loves to cook. There was plenty of room to gather, eat, and spend quality time together. We truly loved this place and are already hoping to book it again next summer for our family reunion.Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great family vacation

This lake house is exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and most of our needs were met. The view is great and the deck box held so many floats, vests and water toys. We had 5 grandkids in our group and they absolutely loved the house and the lake. The cove is quiet in the evening which makes it perfect for a drink on the deck. We had rain one evening and really enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and listening to the rain.There are only a couple of items that would have been helpful, but definitely wouldn't keep me from renting again.It would be nice to have more than the two dishwasher and laundry pods provided. Since we had young kids in our group, some plastic drinkware would have been good. Lastly, and this is more a personal thing for me, was the hairdryer. One with a little more power would be nice for those traveling without a hairdryer. But, that said overall this place is great! Love the layout with plenty of private space for kids to play and watch tv if the weather is bad.

We Had a Wonderful Little Vacation as a Family of Four

We had a wonderful short getaway at this lovely lake house on Lake Keowee! The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including kitchen items, blankets, extra towels, pillows, etc. The peaceful lake view was absolutely beautiful, and we truly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the cove.Our older children especially appreciated having the downstairs living area to themselves, giving everyone plenty of space to unwind. We took full advantage of the kayaks and floats provided, which made for some fun, memorable moments on the water.The decor was modern, calming, and perfectly suited for a lake retreat. The owner was incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions for arrival, making check-in and check-out a breeze. We only had a few questions upon arrival that were always answered quickly. There are little notes for instructions all around the house to make accessing the Wi-Fi, televisions, outdoor shower, and HVAC easy to use. We were even given a little welcome gift of ingredients for S'mores!Overall, it was a perfect family getaway—comfortable, easy, and full of peaceful lake charm. We’d definitely love to come back!

Awesome Getaway

Our stay from beginning to end was amazing. The house and property are beautiful. All amenities and necessities of a long weekend were available from cooking utensils to linens! Beds were extremely comfortable! This was an amazing home away from home. Plan on staying here again!

Lakeside Holiday Family Time

We enjoyed every minute of our family's December stay at this lovely lakeside home! Nicole was easy to work with (after a small glitch getting the entry code), and the house was very comfortable for all 7 of us (adults). We enjoyed reading on the covered back deck and fire table on cool, rainy mornings and evenings. The family room and open kitchen allowed us to maximize our time together while watching football and cooking dinner. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with all the necessities, although I'd ask about the little things ahead of time (trash bags, dish detergent, etc. There's a Dollar General nearby and Walmart is not too far if needed.) The "kids" enjoyed their downstairs suite, and spirited games of ping pong were had in the garage. Outside, we all enjoyed the firepit, and fishing off the dock, as well as paddle boarding and kayaking. One day, we hiked Yellow Branch Falls nearby -- a beautiful, moderate 3.1-mile out-and-back hike across several streams to the falls. We will definitely go back to this lake house again. December was great, but summers must be even better! :)

Family weekend getaway

We were celebrating family birthdays with a long weekend at the lake. The house was great for our family of 2 grandparents, 2 kids under 3 and 2 parents. There are very few steps from the house to the lake (very rare for Lake Keowee!). We loved the fire pit and board games! House was clean and well stocked. We will be back again!

Lake Front Retreat

Two sisters and families truly enjoyed the stay here at this lake front house. The house was just as described. It was clean and perfect for our family. The house, the dock, and the lake are really the best. It is a perfect place for a getaway and retreat. We will be back.

Musty/Humid Basement

We booked this home two separate weekend for the summer. Upon arriving both times and walking to the lower level you can immediately smell the musty basement smell. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are down there so, it was a little concerning. We found a dehumidifier in the closet and ran that the entire time and it helped. We would not book again for this reason. The house is really cute otherwise.

Family Weekend/ Musty Smell in Lower level

Nice house with easy water access. The kitchen was well stocked. The basement that housed 3 of the bedroom had a musty/ damp smell. Especially the bunk room that didn’t have a window. The grill was really dirty when we tried to cook dinner on it. So ended up not using it.

Beautiful view, well appointed house with everything you need!

This property has a beautiful view from the entire house. There is a 2 story deck with plenty of seating and swings. The dock is large and they offer kayaks and paddle boards. The house is amazing for relaxing and has a great set up so 2 families can even share or kids can be downstairs and have their own space while adults are upstairs. The living room is spacious with plenty of seating and again a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and serving meals. They even provided fire wood for the outdoor fire pit which is just beautiful. The mattresses are wonderful and we had an enjoyable stay. The bathrooms are updated and spacious that our girls could get ready together. The home is clean and had everything we needed. This is a fantastic rental.

Happy with our stay

The house was nice, clean, and mostly as advertised. The listing says 3 baths, but it's really 2 full and one half. Otherwise as expected. The driveway is pretty rough and gives a bad first impression. I'm glad I didn't bring the boat to the house, pulling the empty trailer down that driveway was sketchy enough. Once we got past that, everything was great. Overall would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place on Lake Keowee. Would definitely stay here again.
