Our stay was perfectly peaceful! This property is extremely clean, tidy, and well stocked with kitchen tools should guests want to cook full meals. We were able to enjoy the deck in the morning, watching the sunrise over the lake. The owners live on site and are friendly and responsive. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Listing was exactly as stated. Good view, we had coffee down by the lake on our first morning. Close to the places we wanted to go to. The host and his sister gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit. Communication was fast. Beds were very comfy and it was super quiet. Peaceful. We will be back.

Immaculately clean and well appointed unit. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom has a double vanity. Beautiful lake views from the much appreciated porch. Quiet location easy to find. The hosts were accommodating and respectful. Definitely will consider staying here again.

Comfortable, lovely, quiet setting with great hosts who live close to the apartment. We spent three happy weeks relaxing and enjoying the countryside in the Finger Lakes, an area we've always loved. The kitchen had what we needed to cook and to enjoy the fresh local produce and, of course, fabulous corn. The double sinks in the bathroom are a real plus. Altogether, a great experience in a great setting.

We had a great time staying in this guest house. The attention to detail is impressive! The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Having access to laundry was great. Plenty of space for our kids to stretch out and play with their toys. The owners have thought of everything you could need at have it available to you. Would highly recommend.

Lovely summer vacation spot!

We had a fabulous time staying here while visiting the area. The layout was great for our family of 4, the kids loved the pool and balcony, and we found it peaceful to be right on the lakefront and near many parks and attractions. We also appreciated the access to a washer/dryer, an extra convenience when traveling with little ones. Scott and Peggy were incredibly nice and friendly hosts, helped answer questions about the local area, and ensured we had all we needed. Highly recommend, we would stay again!

Girls' Trip

My long-time friend and I stayed at Scott and Peggy's apartment at the end of June 2025. She had retired at the end of 2024, and we planned this getaway for just the two of us. There are so many positives to this rental: lovely apartment separate from the main house, seeing Lake Cayuga from our deck, swimming pool, wineries everywhere, short distances for eating and shopping. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

The inside was very clean. Interior decor was very nice and beautiful big kitchen. They did a nice job putting it together. Great location, near a State Park and walking distance to a local restaurant. Perfect to eat there after a long day at the lake! Host Scott was very friendly and helpful all the time. We’ll definitely book this place again!

Girls Finger Lakes getaway

My friend and I so enjoyed our stay! Fantastic location - allowed us to be centrally located for the things we wanted to do. Apartment is beautifully furnished and comfortable. We loved having coffee in the morning on the deck and wine on the evening. Scott the owner was really helpful and responsive to our questions - even before we got there! We loved our stay there and hope to return.

A truly wonderful time in a beautiful setting

The apartment was amazingly clean and better appointed than my own home!!! Which is saying a lot because I'm an organized clean freak. Scott and Peggy couldn't have been nicer, we loved talking with them. They answered inquires immediately but were so respectful of our privacy. The view from the deck was beautiful, I really can't say enough positive things...except we're already looking forward to staying here next year!!!

Absolutely perfect

I have stayed in many, many short term rentals, and this was by far the best. I have nothing bad to say about any of it. Communication, cleanliness, exactly as described in the listing. But it was the special homey touches that pushed it over the top. The best stocked kitchen ever. I've gotten used to bringing my own special utensils, spices and even foil and baggies. Not only did they have a huge array of spices, foil and plastic wraps, they also had a shelf with a note that had take home containers for you if you had leftovers you wanted to keep! Even though it rained the entire time, the view of the lake from the balcony would be just another reason to return. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking in that area.

Fantastic place

I'm skeptical by nature so it's always shocking when something is as good as or better than advertised. This property fits in the latter category. Scott was very communicative before and during the trip. The pics were great but don't do the apartment justice. It was extremely clean, spacious and well decorated. I came away very impressed which is pretty rare. Our timing was great because the fall colors were on full display. This was a very short trip to see the area but we will definitely be back to stay longer and see more of the Finger Lakes. I would encourage anyone staying in the region to look at this property.
