We really enjoyed our visit. Our host, Margaret was quick to respond to any issues. We loved the location to amenities and access to the lake. It’s an easy home to accommodate guests and our dogs. Other than the boat dock needing to be replaced, we loved our stay. The fire pit and back patio were wonderful with a 180 degree view. Views from two of the bedrooms were appreciated, as well. The sunroom was especially amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. All appliances, water pressure and systems worked perfectly. The labeling of switches and kitchen drawers was very helpful. Thank you, Margaret! We hope to visit again.

The house has all the amenities you could want, everything was clean and well maintained. We brought our own boat for fishing and used the dock for swimming and kayaking. Everyone has a great time!

Overall, a good stay, and a great location. House had great amenities, beds very comfortable. Felt like we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. However, be aware that the host stays directly on the property the entire time. We didn’t enjoy them mowing grass during our stay there without a heads up. Felt like that could’ve waited until we checked out.

Beautiful Lakefront house

This house is beautiful and the stay we had with our French bull dog was better than any other home we have rented in the Finger Lakes. It had everything you need to enjoy your stay from the time you walk in. The deck is big and it was so peaceful relaxing on it as we began our day. The owner is so sweet and allows you to enjoy your time spent without interruption. Our favorite restaurant is Port Cafe and it was a short 20 minute drive. Plenty of vineyards and breweries around. Our pup loved the fenced in play area. It allowed us peace of mind that he had an area for him. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy a vacation in the Finger Lakes. Beautiful Peaceful and plenty of privacy.

An amazing house and location

The property has everything you can ever want . was just like being in my own home. Even had a backup generator just in case. the floor wall all wood plank vinyl which made it very easy for cleanup if you have pets.

Super nice place!

This home is right on the lake. Inside is well appointed and is bigger than the photos convey. The backyard has a lovely porch to sit and relax while enjoying the view of the lake. The fenced in yard space for the dogs was awesome. We will be back!

Fantastic Summer Getaway on Cayuga Lake

A perfect getaway for our family and our one year old Bernese. We spent most of our time on the patio , the fire pit and floating in the lake. This house has the most comfortable beds, a kitchen that is equipped( we like to cook as a family). Our Bernese even had his own fenced in yard.We have booked a return visit.

Great stay on Cayuga Lake

The house was very clean when we arrived. the kitchen was very organized and well labeled. The view of the lake can't be beat! I was able to dock my 18 ft deep V boat without any problems, although the dock is a bit shallow. Keep the motor trimmed up and it's fine.

Cozy and beautiful scenery

2nd time staying. Hostess is wonderful and prompt if any questions or problem. There were 6 adults, plenty of room. Beautiful deck that overlooks the lake, beautiful sunsets. Dock is close for boat. We are looking forwsrd to our next stay.

Awesome property

This home had all that was advertised and then some. The house is very clean. It has a great view of the lake with easy access. The boat launch is less than 4 miles down the road with a dock on the property. There is plenty of parking and room for the boat trailer. Very lovely setting. I would defiantly stay there again.

Vacation Bliss!

We loved our stay at Margaret’s vacation getaway! It really was the perfect spot for our family. The house has plenty of space for a family but is also cozy and quiet for a couple. We had a little of both on our trip with our adult daughters and their families visiting during our stay. The location is superb with stunning views no matter the time of day! Our dogs were a handful at times, but Margaret was understanding and soooo supportive of our rescue mutts! We also discovered that one of the dogs LOVES the water! The property has multiple hang-out spots with comfortable chairs, tables and sun umbrellas. It wasn’t particularly hot while we were there, but the AC in the building worked really well when we needed it. The property has every appliance you could need and the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms were well stocked. All in all, I don’t want to rave too much about our stay in case Margaret gets flooded with reservations and there’s no room for us to return next year!

Great time on Cayuga

We stayed on Lake Cayuga for a week in August and had a great time. Margaret was a phenomenal host. Any questions we had were answered very quickly. The house was very clean, and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. The showers had great water pressure. Most all of our time was spent on the backyard Patio and in the sun room, plenty of room for the four of us that were there and our dogs. You can easily fit 6 people. We started our days off paddling around, using the provided kayaks, and finished it with a fire in the fire pit overlooking the lake. We would stay here again

Dog friendly vacation

This property was the perfect low key, dog friendly, lake vacation. It was our first time taking our dog on vacation and it was perfect. The home was fully equipped for all our needs. Easy access to the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and the dock was convenient. The owner was very attentive to all our needs. Will definitely stay again.
