"Carol runs a beautiful place and always makes us.welcome"

"Nice bed and good shower, staff were lovely. Room very compact, noise from outside and the kitchen in the mornings."

"The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops."

"Good location, but some things could be improved We stayed at the hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The location is very good—it’s not far from the city centre and also not far from the train station, which was very convenient. The first room we were given had a double bed, which was fine as I was staying with my daughter. However, the shared shower was not working properly and there was no hot water. "Very enjoyable stay, clean and spacious room. Lots of choices for breakfast. Handy for shopping near town centre. Definitely recommend this place."

The beautiful bedroom upstairs is charming and quirky...

"Outstanding! Beautiful building, super comfortable room, super friendly and helpful host, convenient location. I was upgraded to the 2nd floor family suite with beautiful Gothic stained glass windows and a tower! Great experience, highly recommended."

"Confusing to check in. It should be pointed out that check in is at the cafe next door. Otherwise all ok for an overnight stay."

"We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. If you did have a car there seemed...

"Lo único es que se complica ir a las habitaciones de planta alta por tener escaleras y cargar maletas para personas de 60 años es complicado como fue nuestro caso"
