"Room was infested with moths. Breakfast menu stated back bacon but only served streaky which was more fat than meat, eggs were severely undercooked.

"My second visit in 2 months based on my first, very positive experience. Again I booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package for a similar value to a bed and breakfast stay elsewhere. I was given a room on the ground floor close to the dining area and rear entrance which suited me fine. Parking was easy and dinner was tremendous. I went for the same walk to Chawton. A great night's sleep was followed by a great breakfast and I left again very fulfilled with my accommodation experience."

"Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV.
The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though."
