"Amazing hotel, with special touch in every detail "

"Lovely welcome to this lovely renovated village pub and hotel. Lovely public rooms and our bedroom was cosy, warm and good to be in. Excellent bathroom. Dinner was fine, breakfast was excellent,"

"Friendly and welcoming staff, thoughtful touches and a lovely location with great walks and lots to explore"

"I couldn't make one single negative comment about this place, it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were first rate and the pool was a great bonus. The views in every direction were stunning."

"Very welcoming arrival with a small tour around the grounds. Rooms clean and suitable for the 1 night we was there. Small communal area with tv, fridge and basic cooking equipment was a great little touch."

"Lovely room. Nice breakfast."

"Excellent quite property with first rate modern amenities but with old historic feel from the hard work by the owners to bring back a luxurious comfortable English Manor House feel. I will be returning in the future and enjoy the place. All the details gave me the best night sleep that I can remember."

"Good value for money. Room was spacious and clean and staff were friendly and helpful."

"Experiencia positiva, por poner pegas tiene unos escalones muy estrechos y empinados cosa a tener en cuenta para quienes viajen con niños pequeños o personas mayores"

"the room was very small with a wardrobe seperating the toilet from the bedroom so not even a door and opposite the toilet is the sink and then the shower with a shower curtain no obvious sign of the extractor working above the toilet.dated and not a place that should charge the amount they do,"

"This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

"Convenient with great cathedral view (room 2) . Very steep staircase so unsuitable for anyone disabled. Right in the centre of the city but little traffic noise."

"Definitely a great location, very friendly welcome, great for tranquillity."

"Lisa was very thorough and explained everything. She also suggested me the good restaurant and places to visit. Enjoyed my stay"
