"Rooms look like they are currently getting updated, but things are just not finished well. Bathroom fittings were loose, showerhead was not fitted correctly, and floor tiles needed a good clean. Each room had a small outdoor table and chairs, our room had a broken chair and was missing the table. Received a message before check-in stating the kitchen was closed. On arrival there was a temporary bar and caravan kitchen in the front carpark with half the carpark was closed off and guest required...

"The house had been sold that day and the new owners moved in. So there was no rental and we urgently had to find alternative accommodation on Magnetic island. Sees like Expedia didn’t check neither did the host but happy to take the money. Hopefully we will get a full refund"
