The location was perfect — just minutes from both Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links, making it ideal for our golf getaway. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!"

"Maude’s Place location is fantastic. The house has a porch with an incredible view of the hills and sandy bay. Inside the house the beds are comfortable, a fan is in every bedroom, the kitchen is well equipped for6 people and they had plenty of towels. We will definitely return for another vacation!"

"Beautiful view of the sunset and close to skyline trail (30mins)Clean rooms and spacious with several utensils. 3 beds could be a bit more bigger for adults but we were 4 adults 2 kids so did not have any concerns. Location was close to gas and grocery. "

"This may be one of our favorite places we have stayed. The property is in pristine condition, and the setting is so peaceful. It is a wonderful place to recover from hiking through Cape Breton. The amenities are vast; Lynn has stocked the home with great detail to attention. There is no doubt that if we are back in the area, we will be staying here again and encouraging others to do the same. "

"We enjoyed or stay and the view was terrific. Deck furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner says she is eliminating washcloths but when we asked she provided a couple more. What would have made our stay better would have been a washer/dryer available and access to that beautiful upstairs bathroom off the master bedroom which made that nice bedroom unusable with only toilet and sink available."

"We absolutely loved the house. It is beautiful, immaculate, compact and incredibly comfortable. The beds and couch were great, plenty of lighting for reading and knitting, and a wonderful kitchen. It is right on the harbor so there is some good people, bird and boat watching. The town has everything you want, we loved Cheticamp Island, dinner at Sahara and I loved the Hooked Rug Museum. We'll be back! "
