"The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. "

"The home was so beautiful and the view was amazing! Everything is well stocked and so clean. Beautiful deck with plenty of room for everyone. Our kids are grown, but they even had a highchair next to the dining table, which we found very thoughtful. The bathrooms were all beautiful and even had heated floors. It was also just a quick drive to the store and all the great spots in town, which made everything super convenient. "My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had.
