"The cottage was cute, cozy, and in a great location—just a short walk from the parking lot and about three minutes down a path to a quiet, uncrowded beach. While the beach was peaceful, it was quite rocky and had a lot of seaweed. The cottage deck gets full sun most of the day as the awning isn’t functional. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs, as the ones provided are older and not very comfortable. Families with young children should note that the bedrooms get very bright early due to sheer...

The cottage is in a great location. You can walk to almost anywhere you want to go. The beaches are a bit far to walk to, but the PTown shuttle is free, dog friendly and convenient. We took it to the beach several times. We had a great stay."

"This was our first time vacationing in Cape Cod and we hit the lottery with this cottage and host! We had the best time, and our three teens all voted best beach vacation trip. Cottage is adorable and the porch is amazing. We cooked most our meals and the kitchen was all you need. Hosts were more than helpful and we look forward to visiting again next year! Thank you!!!!"

"I wanted a cottage on the bay that was close enough to the water that I did not have to load up the car, carry bulky equipment and make long journeys to bathrooms. With this cottage and location, I had the beach right outside my door. For me it was worth the cost just to have all of the conveniences, the sound of the water, beach walks, daily sunsets and privacy. "Mariellen was an awesome host, and made sure we felt right at home during our visit! Perfect place for a relaxing beach get away! We were able to enjoy the beach, cook up some good meals on the grill, and watch the sunset before a lovely stroll down the beach to finish the day. "We have been here many times over the past few years and it is always a wonderful stay. Love the location, the private beach, and the lovely cottage. "

"What a quintessential cape cod cottage! We visited for three days with the five of us to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It worked out perfectly. Scallop is laid out well and the location facing the private beach in the outer cape is ideal. Our fav features were the kids bedroom, kayak, and outside shower. We hope to be back soon! "
