Great place

A bit oldish place but overall fascinating. My friends loved it. The breakfast eating on the gazebo, the dipping into the pool, the daily free evening tit bits the staff left, the way the beds were prepared every evening, large, spacious, filled with traditional wooden tables sofas swing etc. It was a great stay and near to happening street leading to Seminyak Square. On the way we had to leave early for sightseeing they packed breakfast too. The giant bathrooms and outdoor shower etc were great. Strongly reccommended. Wish they put more channels on TV and cleaned the pools a bit more.

Great Stay

Stay was very great. The rooms were at bit on the older side but the service and personal touches more than made up for it. We had two birthdays and the staff went out of their way to sing happy birthday and cook is some delicious local food. Overall the stay was great and I would definitely recommend.

This was my third trip to Bali andI stayed in the Damou villa, and whilst it’s a large space, it is very run down and in need of many repairs. The floor boards are run down and the bathroom has loose towel racks and old furnishings. The bathroom is exposed (no walls), so the toilet is very close to the bed. I can only imagine how bad it would be if someone got a dose of Bali belly. The shower has a lot of soap scum on the walls, and the shower curtain is stained. The pressure of the shower comes in waves, and even then is still weak. The towels are old and stained, most with small holes. Outside: whilst the pool is exclusively yours, it is not private and several other villas have a view of the deck. The deck around the pool is quite bad with loose boards, nails sticking up and boards that feel like they’re about to break - not good when you’re on the 2nd floor. The pool was nice but only gets direct sun for 3 hours of the day (due to roof and plants). The pool isn’t heated so it’s quite cold when not in the sun. The location is good and right in the action, if that’s what you want, but all I could hear 24/7 was the traffic, car horns and music which overpowered any relaxation. The staff are lovely and helpful, however not consistent - removing towels but not replacing them, not refilling water bottles, taking away crockery without it being replaced (problematic when only one coffee cup is supplied and no teaspoon). There are much better villas in the area.

Nice Villa that needs better upkeep

The pros: friendly guest services and very attentive. Breakfast was okay and loved that they cook breakfast in your Villa. Big Villa for two couples to have their private space as well. Close to shops and a lot of restaurants. The Cons: on arrival toilets were dirty. Walls and curtains were stained very bad. Towels had a lot of stains, stained robes, yellow stained sheets that we had to ask for them to change and stained pillow cases. Pool was also dirty as well so we never used it. There was also a smell in the restrooms. Wanted to give this place a try but regret not listening to the reviews. We stayed in the Amore Villa.

Perfect for Seminyak.

Fantastic location. Very clean. Prompt and fast service. 2 minutes from eat street and shopping. Warm smiling courteous staff. Tasty food, breakfast prepared to order by personal staff in front of you and served in your own dining room. Swimming pool and garden outside bedroom, very spacious. PERFECT. All loved it. I could go on and on........

Amazing stay at Four on Drupadi

This was my second stay at Four on Drupadi and it was equally amazing. We were four ladies on a girls trip who loved the location, service, comfort and safety of this place. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The villas are spacious and each have their own private pools. I highly recommend this place.

Great LOCATION !!!!

Me and my friends stayed in Yuubi Villa for 5 nights. Four on Drupadi in a great location. Convienant stop and a Massage shop just 30sec on the right side of the main entrance. 2 Restaurants opposite of the Villa entrance, Kayu Aya is just 3 mins walk away. 24hr supermarket is 5mins walk. Many restaurants and cafes and shops within walking distance. I was very happy with Yuubi villa. Spacious and well cleaned by the wonderful staff. However, there are areas that needs a bit of tender loving care or touch up. The toilet attached to the ground level bedroom has a bit a sewage smell. Staff has been very friendly and helpful. I will come back again to this villa for my next stay. Thank you very much for making my stay a very pleasant one

Time away together to relax!

The villa we received when we arrived was not the villa we hired. To the credit of the lovely staff they were quick to rectify the problem. Couldn't fault the service and hospitality of the staff. Villa was getting a bit old, as the towels and sheets were a bit stained, although they were clean. If I went to Seminyak again I would definitely stay here again. Especially if I wanted to just relax and swim in my own private pool. The restaurant across the road was amazing. Highly recommend the "Fat Buddha"

communication breakdown with staff

Nice villa and huge villa. bad communication with the villa staff. Called the reception a few times between 1am to 3am to inform us that a driver will pick us up for mount batur but they said no one came to the lobby. In the morning, was informed by the driver they came in the morning.. And was told by reception security on day shift that they the driver came but they the staff couldn't reach us. Strangely we were awake since 1am but there were no phone calls or knock on the door. Went to check the security station diary to check who had came into the villa, but was informed that night the security that didn't write anything and had misplaced their pen. I hope the staff can be honest and reliable regarding the situation but somehow their stories did not tally from what the staff at night said.

Lovely retreat in the heart of seminyak

We stayed in Amore, a 2 bedroom villa with 2 king beds, 1 single bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas, a private garden and a pool . Breakfast was cooked in our villa for us. Our stay exceeded our expectations and the staff were helpful, generous and friendly. Very clean. I would happily stay there again.

Potential for improvement

The villa is in a great location and looks lovely however the cleanliness needs to be improved as does the maintenance. We stayed in Villa Amore and despite being quite appealing upon closer look, it was run down and some locks weren't working which made us feel unsafe the first night. The Kitchen cupboards and bedroom cupboards did not smell very nice and needed to be left open to air out, we did not put our clothes in them. At certain times throughout the day water was not working and wifi would cut out. Some staff though friendly, couldn't speak English very well and should be more attentive (at least from my previous experience staying at other villas where staff were fantastic).
