"We have just had a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. The only thing we can say about it as everything was first class but we really didn't like the idea of having to pay extra for fried eggs etc. at breakfast. This may seem trivial but to us it was important. "

"These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. "

"The room was spacious and very clean. Very nice touch with a bottle of sparkling and still water each side of the bed. Breakfast was substantial. Getting to the rooms with a very tight turn at the top was challenging but the staff offered help both with the luggage when we arrived and when we left. Staff were brilliant Would definitely stay again as it was such good value for money"

"We booked a couple of rooms for a family wedding at a venue close by. Overall, it was excellent value for money and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and quiet and the breakfast was great. Very happy. "

"Our first overnight stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express hotel, but probably will not be our last. The whole interior of the hotel including the reception area, bar and restaurant area, communal areas and especially the rooms have all been refurbished, and apparently fairly recently, to a very good standard. "The lady that met us open check in was very friendly & welcoming . She showed us to our room and said anything we need to just ask . Comfortable room everything you need my only one criticism could do with a mini fridge to put water etc in . Shower was great . Very nice stay would definitely come again "
